I'm thinking the same... You know you'll need to get the VR6 subframe for the mounting points and run it with a larger wheelbase? also the bonnet will need to be replaced. You may as well start with a cheep VR6? Although, I do like the look of the early cars in comparison to the newer ones... you doing it just for the looks?

they're more brittle though. They can shatter if bent... no good for paring knifes etc. I've just been looking up samuri sword techniques for making the steel... It's quite fascinating, they have been making hardened Carbon steel since the 13th century!

I have a set of Sabatier knives. High carbon stainless steel blades. Got them from TK Max for £15 and they do me fine. Never thought of collecting them, I love to cook so i like a nice sharp knife but that's where my interest in them end. I have a Japanese Nakiri knife that my dad got from Hong Kong but again... that's just for cooking.

hi guys. They all got sent before Christmas. I don't have enough rollers to replace the missing ones... I had 18 spare rollers after some people didn't pay and currently I have claims of 30 missing rollers. I have received 2 envelopes from those who have claimed for missing rollers which means i can only claim for the cost of 5 rollers from the royal mail. One of those envelopes didn't have a post mark on it either so the chances of them excepting that envelope is slim... Can those who have had missing rollers please have one more look for any of the envelopes that they came in because it looks like I'm going to have to refund you all and there was no money made on this little group buy so I'll have to fund the refunds myself and then claim back the money from royal mail. so far I have envelopes from: Purplebaghera 4eyes2wheeels (no post mark on the envelope) I know it's a long shot and you have probably not got the envelopes any more but I'd appreciate anything you can find. As for replacement rollers, as above I don't have enough to go around everyone. If you could do with fewer rollers then please let me know... I'll have to send replacements on a first come first serve basis. I'm having to do all this stuff in my spare time which is tricky because I've just been made redundant so I'm spending most of my time looking for work and doing odd jobs to get by. So please forgive me if i don't reply to your messages for a few days. I will get round to helping everyone and I'll try my best to make up for the missing rollers.

Yeah Cheers Jake! Cath loved your beard by the way... She thinks every man should have a beard! Got home for about 12:30am Christmas day and had to get up at 9am the next day to cook Christmas dinner but It was all good anyway! that bumper sat in her car for 2 weeks as well! But it's in the shed now. Will probably take it to bits and get it blasted and hot dipped (the iron). It's a shame I'm not needing the plastic bumper but I'll find a use for it. ;)

The car came out for a very short spell as I only had a month left on the tax so I decided to let it go on. Sooo I drove her about when it has been dry (and with no salt on the roads!) Shes only be out a few times, just enough to keep me entertained over the 2 week holiday! :D So, i thought i would share this little story with you that happened over the holidays. Got pulled over buy the fuzz at 2am on boxing day after driving back from the in-laws, was speeding a little but there was no one about and I was stone sober. Pulled me and the misses over and did the long walk up to the car... Wound the window down. "yes officer?" "is this car registered to you sir?" "yes officer" "can you tell me what speed you where doing sir?" "Ooo I must say i think i was speeding..." "indeed sir i had trouble keeping up... That the G60?" "yes it is..." "Always liked the corrado..." "Yeah, I've always wanted one. Just got this back on the road." "quick is it? what have you done to her" "just the charger pulley and suspension nothing too fancy, not as quick as the VR6" "Yeah but the smaller engine is lighter isn't it? better handling..." WAH! Amazing! waved me off with a caution! Merry Christmas! :shades:

hey dude, They still never turned up! Yikes! again, I'll claim the loss off royal mail and pop out a replacement set in the next day or so. Don't worry about paying for new rollers... just cover the cost of postage. I'm so sorry everyone! I seem to have screwed up the envelopes or something.... I don't have enough to replace all the ones that are missing. I've been away for xmas and new year but I'm back now and I'll try to get to the bottom of this and also see how I can maybe get you refunds. If anyone has their envelopes without the rollers can you please keep them as i might be able to use them to prove loss/damage in transit from royal mail. Thank you for your patience... I'll try my best to sort you all out.
