  3. Ok, I'll try and get some today!
  4. Brilliant. Thank you. That covers the nearside turret, loom to engine harness and also the nearside chassis leg. I believe. Just to confirm on the nearside turret/bulkhead - The wiring doesn't sit tight to the bulkhead, goes to the very bottom of the bulkhead where it then runs along the chassis leg; Instead it kind of misses the very bottom of the chassis leg where by it runs across the top of the bulkhead, diagonally down the turret then to the chassis leg? Can anyone confirm? The last thing I'm a little unsure of is the radiator fan plug loom section. I can't tell from any picture I've seen where it routes. I know it breaks off in the loom under the fan control module; I'm just unsure whether it moves across and goes on top of the gearbox, then through the coolant hoses to reach the fan - Or, does it run on the inside of the chassis leg, kind of parallel to the power steering pipes, clips into that little bracket next to the battery, then moves across to the fan? Can anyone confirm that? Thanks a bunch so far guys; lifesavers.

    Spark plug condition

Can't really see the electrodes properly. But I'd say they look a little oily, or it could be carbon deposits from over fuelling? How old are they? how many miles have they covered? P.s. Where are there 5?
  6. Very very helpful! The left hand side of the picture show clearly the routing. :thumbleft: Thank you. Has anyone got anything for the nearside routing (turret and chassis leg) please?
  7. I'm in Sheffield If you want to pop down one day and I'll show you how to fix it.. If it is the heater controls anyway?
  8. After spending too long on my OBD2 conversion I've forgot how to re-route the wiring in the engine bay. Has anyone got any decent pictures of the wiring routes in the engine bay? The main thing I'm struggling with at the moment is: 1) The wiring around both turrets - Does it go to the front or side of the turrets? Does it stick hard to the bulkhead then go across the chassis legs or does cut across? 2) How does the loom go across the gearbox to the large plug on the engine harness? 3) How doe the main fan plug wire go direct from the fan itself? Any information would be awesome. Pictures even better.. Or if anyone has a VR6 in or around Sheffield (S11) I could look at would be awesome!! Thanks!

    Inpro headlights

Pattern part: http://www.arz-tuning.de/shop/product_info.php/language/en/info/p2180_Manual-Headlight-Adjuster---VW-Corrado.html/cat/109 Genuine: http://www.vwheritage.com/vw_act_vwclassicParts.search.htm?classicSearchText=535941297 They are obsolete from the dealers as of January this year. No one has any stock left as far as I'm aware. VW heritage is a 2-3 week wait time, but its a genuine part. ARZ is a pattern, but they are good suppliers so I can only presume it'll be good quality. I e-mailed them last week for a lead time with no response. I need to order one and I'm going to from VW heritage, simply because its genuine and works out the same price.

You know you can buy new adjusters for about £15?
  11. Arrggghhh, tempted.. I'm just reluctant as I've seen the past few go for £20 and I've missed out by minutes each time! Damn it! :)
  12. I'd rather not risk posting one for the time being, I'll hold out for one closer :)
  13. I have two G60 (PG code) bottom ends. They have been stripped of all ancillaries, sump, oil pump; but internally untouched. They have been sat for a good 12-18 months in my basement (layered in oil to stop any seizing) with the intention of building a 16vG60 in my spare time (or even a cool coffee table or something); but realistically I'm never going to get round to it. Both came of working engines / cars which were fully broken for spares. No idea what they are worth so lets start bidding at £50 each, but I'm open to ANY sensible offer to get them gone; I'd rather see them put to good use rather than getting weighed in. I'll grab some pictures asap.
  14. Corraso script and VR badges in chrome. Also rear strut brace please :)
  15. The Meyle oil pump is provisionally sold over on E38, he has 24 hours then it's yours. The inlet. £20?
  16. I'd try and source a very early KR head then, might as well start with the best. Just do a search on google, it'll be covered somewhere with the proper info and part numbers. ClubGTi is very good for stuff like this.
  17. KR or ABF inlet cam. Proven over and over 150bhp from fitting one of those. That's an extra give or take 15bhp. I think the KR cam is more aggressive with lift, but the ABF has longer duration, or something like that. Swings and roundabouts. As for the KR head... The very early KR head is meant to flow better, the late KR and 9A or more or less the same, if not identical. ABF heads are meant to be really good. I believe in order of best 16v head flow rates it goes: very early KR, ABF, late KR/9A. Unless you're removing the head and rebuilding, I wouldn't bother.
  18. I too would like to know this. I know VW recommend vacuum bleeding. But usually you bleed from the furthest away from the M/C then get closer. So rear offside, rear nearside, front offside, front nearside, ABS (x2) then master cylinder. Is that correct? (for those thinking I have my offside and nearside mixed up; I don't, I've taken into account the brake pipe routing)
  19. If something happened to my Corrado VR6 and I was in the market again; buying another Corrado. It'd be another G60. It's just a much more raw and direct, fun, faster, better turn in and more responsive car all around - more of a red light racer. Easier and cheaper to tune too. And that sound. :luvlove: But then again, If I had a G60 I'd probably want a VR6. It's more refined, reliable and juts more grown up, it's easier to drive, it has that VR6 presence no other Corrado has (every other question I received as a G60 owner was, is it a VR?), the cabin is just a nicer place to be. I think the Corrado VR6 is one of VW's last old school cars; It's modern in a sense, but still has that old car, direct drivers feel; the best of both worlds. And that sound. :luvlove:
