Does anyone know the different lowering rates for the standard Spec Corrados? Does anyone know if the G60 was any lower than the 2.0 16v or 2.0 8v? Cheers Neil

New? Theres only about 2 mils worth of tread left on the tyres now!! JK

Indeed, exactly the same thing happened in my last car just before I traded it in! Around January this year I was going down a relatively light hill coming up to a roundabout, car just kept on going down the hill bouncing off the kerb like a pinball!! :? All I could do was wait 10 seconds (which felt like forever!) before I went into the back of a crappy Ford Escort van. I've since read that due to the material the TS-1's are made of they tend to litterally go solid in below freezing conditions. Ice + Hard Toyos = Not good :( Apparently the TR-1's are 10X better in this respect, and they need to be! From my own personal experience of them, they were fantastic in the wet. But 'd only recommened them strictly as a Summer only tyre.

Could try a washer or two on the kinkage thread to give the blade some more pressure? The aero wipers don't tend to last very long. The set on my Polo have gone already and I only bought them 4 months ago! :( -
I'm sure the idea was good on paper, but in the end it just looks like a Corrado with an identity problem :(

I'd say getting the Nova was the bigger mistake! Glad you've seen the light though, welcome to the forum! :)
-
OK i'll try and get that done on Saturday 8) High is certainly not cool, do you still need a step ladder to look inside your boot dinkus? :D

When I had my Polo  lowered 45mil the bump stops stayed standard length at the rear (113.5ml). Would 45mil be a bit too much to cut them by? At least I now know why it sits so stupidly high at the rear!

Wasn't the Eclipse the American name for the FTO? Sorry, he he  IIRC it was the GTO3000 (?) that was called the Eclipse in the American market. Could be wrong though (!)

Liking the mudflaps! :D (No really, I am!!)

I shortened my Polo bee sting to 1/2 the normal size, reception is still absolutely fine :)
-
Has anybody ever heard of these people. If so are they as good on Corrados as they claim?
-
Rod type ariel - 7M0 035 849 E - you already have the bee-sting as standard  9 = Rod type ariel, only the Ariel itself (no. 12) will actually fit the original ariel base. 17 = 'Shark fin' version from the New Golf, looks X10 better, but the whole ariel is about £65.00, worth it if you value the little details though :)

Seeing as allot of you have this problem and fear the £50 est for a new handle, were you aware that there is a genuine VW repair kit to fix them? :? I've no idea whatsoever how much they are though. 535 898 083 - N/S 535 898 084 - O/S Sorry if you already knew

At last, someone finally points out Autocars BMW bias :)

To even think of comparing a 1.6 Civic to a VR6 Corrado is frankly demented.

Although the C gets looks from both sexes.. ;) Trying to tell us something there Dinkus? :flower:

Selfish b*****ds could've waited til I'd got one though! :) -
Wow, just seen these pictures and all I can say is... *SPURT* That colour is just great! 8)

As the car was a UK Special Edition, the badges wern't produced by VW Germany. Hence the reason they aren't listed on ETKA (and why they went out of production so quickly). Actually, I wasn't thinking of investment. I don't want to make money out of people
-
Who said anything about making a fake Storm? :) Reason I want the numbers is i'm trying to make a last ditch attempt to find the remaining ones through VW dealers. If i am lucky enough to find some, they wouldnt go near any car other than a Storm  That'd be too much of a waste.
-
Does anyone have the part numbers? Ideally I want the exterior badge part number but the interior one would be a bonus :) Note: I know they're obselete, out of stock etc etc. Just give me the numbers! :D
