Trimsport Alloy Rear Strut Brace for VW Corrado VR6 G60 16V 8V

I don't know who is doing your welding for you Matt but it's pretty not good mate I have a trimsport rear strutbrace with welding 100% better which I believe is a few year's old the welding on your's look's like "Mig Welding" Whereas the brace I have has obviously been welded with "Tig" alot neater and tidier. -
Possibly don't know myself but you never know :D
-
Good luck finding one :thumbleft:

They are close what size are these Mic Disc's?
-
No offence taken ;) I think what Rob was trying to get across is there is alot of bit's n bob's on these car's that you think "Oh that's nothing" it soon mount's up and can turn expensive very quickly also the fact you obviously are keen on the car you can go and look at it through rose tint's and the heart can rule the head "Big Mistake" you really need to be on the top of your game with these there are a couple of guy's on here who will agree. Ask Sean182 though he is doing a grand job of getting it right the more homework you do the more rewarded you will be and the more sane in the long run GLW your search :thumbleft:
-
You asked for advice Rob gave you advice then you turn round and tell him you know what's what if you know that much why are you asking for advice
-
Did you not see the previous post Harry? Pic's can make anything look good unless they are taken by Crazy Dave of course ;)

The spoiler, actual aerodynamic aid or marketing ploy?
clumpy1 replied to Roger Chatfield's topic in General Car Chat
If anything Neil it highlight's how much these car's were messed about with regarding alarm's etc in fact what am I talking about regarding everything vvvvvvvv very hard to get an original one now if not impossible. Liked the "Oh aye" by the way :thumbleft: -

clumpy1 replied to Roger Chatfield's topic in General Car Chat
I hate to correct you Neil but mine does it not with the key but if I leave the window open get out activate the alarm/lock car the window's close though on occasion if they have been open between 75% to fully open they don't close totally. And mine is an Early car too J plate -
I apologise for earlier comment's regarding Heritage that is a Damn good price for a new 90mm splitter but obviously the keener they keep the price's the more they will sell.
-
No worries Rob don't mind helping out a fellow DBP owner (will help out other's too) I aint in it for the money just to see sweet/sorted Corrado's and it please's me if I see one where I've helped out :thumbleft: The packing I hate shoddy packing I bought a set of these rear light's off ebay they came in a box too small for the 4 part's so what happened the two outer's got slightly damaged and had to be binned now I'm stuck with two inner's  If you are selling something you should pack it correctly

A bit more info required regarding how you are running it standard management aftermarket also what age is your Corrado as a cat is only required after a certain date. Best bet though is take it somewhere where the mot man is sensible Also if you have not registered the engine swap with DVLA they will be testing it as whatever it is registered as and the R32 engine put's out more bad gas than say a 2.0 16v Alot more.
