well my vr6 has had 7 owners, and apart from the usual wear and tear items,i had no trouble with it at all, apart from needing engine work, which was my own decision to make,as it was still flying,so that above comment makes no sense at all

its a 2.1 5 cyl audi engine close.....but it looks too like a 20v 2.2 to moi :D ............the 10v 2.1 don't look anything special btw  taken from dahlbacks website The stock 1.8 litre engine has been replaced by an inline five cylinder 2.1 litre Audi turbo engine with two large intercoolers. The engine develops about 600-900 hp depending on the choice of turbo and setup. To make room for the larger engine, the inner fenders had to be replaced by chrome-molybden pipes.

-
 beat me to it :D
-
lol no..i was going to say they front bearings need to be pressed in,so you will need to remove the whole hub assembly and take it to and engineers workshop and ask them to press the old ones out and new ones back in,while its off i would change the bottom ball joint as you may damage it when you remove the hub,you could hammer the bearings in/out but you may risk damaging it
-
are you doing the job yourself?
-
i used to do the same,if i was paid the week after the tax was due id get it then, but you cant do it anymore :(
-
yes i know, but all the other manufacturers including bilstein list them as the same through at the model range,so why would fk make them different?
