1. I have a set of Audioscape door pods. Tried looking back in old threads to see what they are worth but not clear. A couple of fellow members suggested I put them up for £100 collect or can post at cost. One has a tear in the vinyl but its close to the edge for the speaker so may not show.
2. Please delete I put it up twice
3. As title 90amp vr6 alternator for sale, came off my storm (only changed as a new one became available) still worked fine when took off by Vince at Stealth. Asking for £35 posted will listen to offers Cheers Jon
4. For sale as a non runner - Bordeaux Pearl Corrado VR6 with OBD2 conversion. Here are some photos of the car: http://www.flickr.com/photos/93026755@N05/ Unfortunately I will have to let my VR6 go. I've owned it since 2007 and made a whole load of improvements to it including a complete engine rebuild, which has annoyingly just failed on me. I haven't got the time or enthusiasm left to rebuild it a second time so hopefully someone can buy it off me and either donate the parts to other cars in need, or replace the engine and keep L25 NUG going a bit longer! Bodywork, carpets and grey cloth interior are in excellent condition. Sunroof tilts and slides, refurbished 2007. Electric windows in good working order. Forgot to add, the spoiler works perfectly, raises and lowers at 45mph. 288 front brake upgrades done 2011. Koni coilover suspension fitted by Stealth in 2008, in excellent condition. Rear beam powder coated and refurbished with new bearings etc. Rear subframe refurbished, new bushes, powder coated. Wishbones, bottom ball joints, track rod ends all refurbished, new bushes and powder coated. 2011 Milltek stainless steel exhaust. OBD2 installed 2012, was running beautifully until water got into the multi-way engine plug and shorted it out, so will need a new loom or new connector. Engine rebuild 2009 - ARP main, crank and head bolts, Wiseco forged aluminium pistons, new bottom & piston bearings, new seals all round. Compresson on the cylinders is >190psi except for cylinder 6 which is ~100 dry, 130 wet. I suspect a worn/blown piston ring or cracked piston. Head work done by Impulse developments in Rochdale, all new valves, steam cleaned and repainted. Radiator replaced 2008 Toad Ai606 Cat #1 alarm with full closure, 2 key fobs. Headlight relay loom fitted. Spare wheel & tyre in new condition, jack and wheel wrench. Standard 15" speedlines in good condition, with four very good Uniroyal Rainsport tyres, approx 5000 miles wear. The recent suspension and brakes work made this car drive beautifully, very smooth and surprisingly comfortable ride considering the coilover suspension. I was getting a realistic 35mpg from OBD2 (measured at the pump) before the bottom end blew. I have a number of other parts for it which I never got around to fitting, which I will include: clutch slave cylinder door handle repair kit (both sides) new window rollers (both sides) replacement oil pressure and temperature senders Steering column housing for fixed height steering wheel mod. Full set of engine plastics. I will also throw in any Corrado/VR6 specific tools I can find. (e.g. spark plug removal tool, coilover adjustment spanner etc) Loads of receipts, history, and MOT till April 2014. I'll keep the tax disc! Clocks all work and show ~150000 miles. Known faults: Non-runner - shorted/melted engine multi-way plug due to water ingress. Rest of the loom looks fine though. Low compression on cylinder 6 - suspect cracked piston or worn piston rings. Clutch difficult to disengage, suspect slave cylinder needs replacing (replacement supplied with the car) Passenger door lock needs fixing Heater control stuck on Windscreen mode. Horn doesn't work, suspect steering wheel slider contact. Heated mirrors don't work, or move. £975 cash, no px, very close offers considered. Collection from London SE3, you will have to tow away or bring a pickup truck...
5. After buying a new Scirocco last year and only putting 500 miles on the Corrado in a year, I’m sorry to say it’s definitely time for her to go. I also feel sad that she lives in the garage most of the time. Someone will love doing the little jobs I keep putting off as the car could easily be brought back to show standard with mimimal effort. She has never let me down and starts/runs like a dream. If I could afford to run both cars I would but I can't justify it any more. Summary: * 24V conversion done by PSI in 2005 -http://www.psituning.com/page.php?xPage=corrado24v.html * Engine 76k miles * Car 141k miles * Tax Oct 2013 * MOT May 2014 * Owned since Oct 2007 - done about 23k miles * Full VW/VW specialist service history * Original manual/service book and two sets of keys * Over £9k spent under my ownership with all receipts (see list below) Good Points: - Just been MOT'd with no advisory notes and it didn't need much to pass, also just been serviced; - Always garaged; - Car has been maintained regardless of cost and is in superb mechanical order; - Leather interior is in great condition; - KW V1 Suspension; - Recently fitted new heater matrix and radiator; - Engine work done in diagnosing slight misfire; - Spare rear lights (red tinted), de-badged grill and various spare badges. Bad Points: - Sunroof only tilts; - No door lock pins (never replaced them when I changed from de-locked to normal handles); - Blowers work on all speeds but not every direction (new bowden cables needed); - Alloys could do with a good clean up after being used the past few winters; - Paintwork needs touched up in places (typical for age of car). I've tried to be as realistic as possible with the price of £2600 and think it's a steal at this given how good this car is. All the car needs is a little work done on the exterior and it would be close to perfect again. I'm open to any sensible offers. Any questions just shout on 07447 600 398 or email me at [email protected]. 6. VR6 | Candy White | Nottingham Price: £4000 ovno Description: [PRICE DROP: the BBS RC wheels have been sold, so I've dropped the price by £500] Hi Folks, It's time for me to sell up as I've fallen in love with the 944 Turbo! The full advert is up on Pistonheads http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/volkswagen/corrado/volkswagen-corrado-vr6-1993/1375755 For Forum and CCGB Members I am happy to discuss doing a deal. Yes the price is higher than most for a "standard" (albeit massively restored) car, but once you see the full list of everything that's been done, I'm sure you'll agree it's reasonable. I feel it's better to buy my car than risking a less well documented VR6 for circa £3k and then unearthing all of the miriad niggles - unless of course you want a project, in which case feel free to keep on walking :) OK, here's the blurb (full history also available on request) Cheers, Chris ======================== For Sale: VR6 Corrado 1993, L reg 141k miles approx, 30k approx miles by me Candy White paint, Black cloth interior. I’ve spared no expense in maintaining and improving this car over the 4 years of ownership. I have been a keen member of the CCGB and the-corrado.net forum and have been fastidious in resolving any niggles, as and when they’ve occurred, usually at great expense. I am selling it because there is nothing left to fix and because I want a new toy. I find myself contemplating significant modifications which I feel is a bad thing to do, a waste of money and will actually reduce the quality of what is (in my eyes) a really genuine unmolested car. This leaves a very standard and much cared for car in very good condition for someone else to enjoy. The fully researched and validated history is available to review on request, alongside DVLA confirmation of previous owners and Volkswagen’s own history of all official garage visits, in addition to the usual stamped service book. I have receipts totalling in excess of £10k will be available to view when you come to see the car. Key features: Engine & Gearbox ● Timing chains, rocker cover, clutch and clutch master cylinder all replaced at approx 111k miles by C&R Enterprises, Nottingham. ● New Idle Control Valve and rocker cover Pressure Control Valve fitted at approx 111k miles. ● New Mass Airflow Sensor fitted at approx 120k miles ● New genuine mild steel exhaust back and centre sections fitted approx 123k miles. Not a noisy stainless after-market alternative. The back box alone cost circa £500 (yes, I know I’m crazy). ● Sparkplugs and HT leads replaced ● Gearbox recently refilled with Redline MT90 gear oil. ● Engine oil is 5w-40 fully synthetic Motul 8100 X-cess ● Recent fuel filter. ● K&N air filter in the standard airbox, regularly cleaned and retreated. Cooling system ● New main coolant pump, new after-run electric coolant pump, thermostat, housing, all three stat sensors, rad sensor, fan control box (relay & switch unit near expansion tank) and heat exchanger all fitted in recent years. ● Recently refilled with G12++ and water-wetter. Chassis ● New OEM dampers, top mounts, bump stops, brake disks and pads all round in last 3 years. Brands include Febi, Mahle, Sachs etc. ● New OEM wishbones, ARP bushes, Ball joints, rear trailing arm bushes have also been fitted in recent years. ● When the rear trailing arm was removed, the brake load compensatory was carefully refitted along with various solid brake pipes. ● The front engine mount has been upgraded with a Vibratechnics mount, and the rear and gearbox mounts have been replaced with new OEM rubber units. Body ● The underside has been stripped of all wax and sealant back to factory paint, small areas of corrosion removed, repaired, repainted. ● Arches and sills have been comprehensively cleaned, repaired and repainted. ● The underside, wings, rear quarters, sills and arches have all been resprayed and sealed with underseal and a coating of Dynitrol wax. Interior ● Good condition standard black cloth interior ● Very slight sagging on the drivers seat (as would be expected on a 20 year old car) but with no damage to the fabric itself. ● New pristine genuine “Corrado” 4 piece matt set fitted. ● No problems with the heater matrix ● New heater fan recently fitted (no rumbling noise!). Other good bits to note ● Spoiler working correctly. Cables recently lubricated. ● Sunroof working correctly. Cables & guides recently lubricated. ● Windows working correctly. ● Recent new St Gobain windscreen. ● 4 good Rainsport2 tyres with 6mm+ of tread Room for improvement ● The bonnet had a scratch which has been aggressively buffed. It isn’t hugely noticeable but it would be nice to respray the bonnet to make it perfect. ● Both front indicators are hazy due to the front facing plastic lens getting a beating from stones over the last 20 years. Both are perfectly functional so this is purely superficial. ● One of the front fogs has a crack but is water tight and fully functional. Again this is due to being front facing and 20 years old. No need to replace. ● There is a slight chip on the edge of the bonnet and top of the offside wing that has been touched up. No work required. ● There is a small amount of paint damage on the near side of the (plastic) front bumper. Probably from a low speed “nudge” and the paint hasn’t flexed as well as the plastic. Again, very superficial. I have recently cleaned this up and used some genuine VW rattle-can paint to give a tidy finish. See photos. ● Slight sagging of the driver’s seat bolster but now I’m being picky! ● The original Speedline alloys are a little crusty and chipped in some areas. There are no problems with pressure but a refurb would be nice to match the quality of the bodywork. ● The foam under the bonnet is falling apart but it's just superficial. You can buy an unused set privately for over £100 (it's obsolete at VAG), you could strip it off and leave painted metal, or just leave it (as I have done). As you will see, the car is not concourse-condition nor a museum piece. It is a loved, very reliable “real” car that has had no expense spared, practically in every area to make it mechanically very sound, while retaining the factory standard look (bar the black 16v Mk2 Golf "VW" grill badge!), handling and performance. Just so that you’re aware: The one-piece dashboard clock & dial cluster has been replaced due to incorrect oil and coolant readings. The computer reads approx 45k miles over the real mileage (the clocks say ~186k, but the car has only done ~141k). All receipts and official DVLA and VW records prior to my ownership back up the genuine mileage, which I have meticulously documented with each piece of work on the car. I have informed my Insurer of the change and recent MOTs carry the new +45k mileage readings, so it would be more trouble than it is worth to try to rectify by adjusting the clocks. Extras: The advertised price of the car includes all of the items below. If you want the car cheaper that advertised, I’ll happily put it back on it’s standard Speedline alloys (with very good RainSport2 tyres) and then sell the items below separately. Price with everything = £4,000 Price with none of the below = £3,800 (established Forum or CCGB members are welcome to discuss a discount on either scenario - just ask!) ● All parts needed for a Front Brake upgrade to larger 288mm. Disks and pads are used but plenty of life left in them. This modification gives only a small diameter improvement but a huge pad area improvement and is a common, well documented upgrade. - I paid £80. ● Replacement roller set for the electric windows. Cures any slight glass rattle that may develop. - £10 ● New genuine ABS pedal sensor. Obsolete, bought as a spare - circa £90. ● Uncut parcel shelf if you don’t like the 90s Kenwood speakers that have been fitted. - £40. ● Standard second hand spare exhaust manifold - £10 ● Standard second hand catalytic converter - £20 ● A set of refurbished H&R Sport (green) 30mm lowering springs are available. New these are about £180 for the set. I’ve had them shot blasted and powder coated satin black. - i paid £70. ● A full set of new unused (packaged) OEM spring buffers, top mounts, boots and bumps stops are available. This bundle of parts cost me just over £100 new and is everything you need to fit the H&R spring kit with confidence. Total value of the extras (if I was to sell separately) = £420 approx

Complete with a pair of stainless banjo union bolts and 4 copper washers. Cost £56 plus carriage from C&R. £43 DELIVERED

9. R32 | Blackberry | Rushden, Northamptonshire Price: £3500 ono Description: Well the time has finally come to advertise my Corrado :( it's a sad day but it's just sat looking sorry for itself and I just can't justify keeping it any longer so it needs to go as I need to spend a bit of money on my Audi plus I'm after a motorbike lol. The car is in relatively good condition for it's age but is by no means a perfect car and will ideally need a bit of time and money spent on her to get back up to standard, hence the low asking price! I will list good and bad points including things that need doing below. DESCRIPTION Corrado R32 (formerly VR6) 1995/M Reg (M58 FGN) Mileage: 160k Tax: SORN MOT: June 2013 I purchased the car in August 2006 as a mint Blackberry VR6 with about 125k miles on the clock and over the years has had pretty much everything done to it! I won't go in to too many details on here so if you want to trawl through many many many pages of the car's history you can do so here: http://goo.gl/H5ZRT Details below :) ENGINE - MK5 Golf R32 3.2 24v (278bhp at Stealth Racing). The donor engine came out of a MK5 Golf that had only covered ~12000 miles and had an interior fire which wrote the car off. Engine was mint, wiring loom was a bit of a mess but this was professionally rebuilt and adapted for the installation by Vince at Stealth Racing and he did a great job! The engine is running stock management but with some tweaking to the ECU by Vince to adapt for all the missing Golf things like immobilizer and all 4 lambdas (runs 2). The car itself had about 155k on the clock when the engine was fitted. The engine had a fresh map by Vince last year (June) when I also had the clutch done which ironed out the flat spots and greatly improved the delivery of the engine, it's sublime now and returns an average of 27 MPG, not bad! ENGINE BAY - SPAL slimline fan (needed for R32 conv) - Fuel pressure regulator (needed for R32 conv) - Jetex cone filter (ideally needs replacing as a bit manky) - Renewed mounts GEARBOX - Standard and original with new clutch fitted in June '12 (barely covered any miles at all since then!). Oil renewed with Redline MT-90 when engine was fitted. EXHAUST - Miltek cat-back exhaust system in to Dubpower de-cat in to Dubpower 6-branch stainless manifold. SUSPENSION / STEERING / HANDLING - GAZ GHA adjustable Coilovers (couple of years old although only covered about 5k miles!) - Bushes and ball joints all round have been renewed at some point including uprated R32 wishbone bushes (less flex but not as harsh as poly bushes). - Fixed steering column, BIG improvement on steering feel imo, sits at a perfect height (between highest and lowest settings on the original adjustable column) includes the correct cowling. - Neuspeed 25mm rear ARB. - Trimsport rear brace (the BIG one) BRAKES - Upgraded to 288mm with calipers and pads. - Rears are standard EXTERIOR - 90mm chin spoiler (cracked) - All red rear lights (stick on with cut out slits to allow some amber through!) - Both badged and badgeless grills (also with R32 badge) - De-wipered rear - Aero front wipers - Smooth badgeless rear - Detailed headlights - Handles don't break thanks to Dave16v's wonderful upgraded strikers. WHEELS / TYRES - Standard Speedlines with Pirelli P6000 tyres, not got a lot of life in them though. INTERIOR - Beige leather interior, could be heated but I never wired them in! The leather is not in the best condition really, the rear seats are fine tho. - Black dash - DDI Dials (not illuminating!) - Kenwood head unit (relatively new) - JBL front crossover speakers and tweeters - 2 parcel shelves. 1 uncut beige one with original straps (worth a fortune on eBay ;) lol) and a cut black one with some JBL 6x9's. - Audi VDO gauges (not wired in) BAD POINTS / NEEDS DOING - No tax (SORN'd) - Will probably need a new battery as the current one has been flat and recharged numerous times so can't see it holding charge for long. - Cracked windscreen (easily sorted through insurance) - DDI dials no longer illuminate making it very difficult to see speedo/clocks in the dark! (new DDI dials are ~£100 last time I looked or you could source original parts) - Sunroof is getting a bit sticky, greased it up last year but ideally needs a strip down and proper greasing, only on slide though, it still tilts fine. - Needs a good wheel alignment, pulls a bit as I would have just done it by eye last time I did bushes/suspension work and not had the alignment done properly. - Worn leather drivers seat (down to age really) - Cracked splitter - No alarm / immobilizer. Used to have a Toad Cat1 but it died! - Generally tiring bodywork due to age and mostly being original. Has scratches and scuffs mainly at the front, stone chips a plenty, the odd parking ding, the odd rust bubble, annoying small dent on the front of the bonnet caused by ice chucked up by a car in front one winter! The majority is good and it still polishes up well for it's age but ideally it could do with a bit of paint up the front really (the rear is pretty mint as a woman ran in to the back of the car a few years back not causing much damage but was enough to get an insurance job done so was fixed and painted by the great Steve Denton at Stylehaus in Northampton and whilst at it he smoothed it all off for me!). GOOD POINTS - It's a Corrado - It's Blackberry - It's got Beige leather ... mmmm beige! - R32 engine runs sweeeet and returns very good MPG considering! - It's solid underneath and drives solid too so nothing to worry about underneath for a while! - New clutch barely covered any miles - Plenty of must-have goodies included I have probably missed some out but it'll all be in my thread in the link at the top! I have tried to be honest with this listing, it's not perfect but it's also not a pile of junk either. It was running and driving perfectly fine the last time I was using it (briefly before christmas) and it now just needs a loving owner with a few spare weekends and with a spare few quid to make it a great car again, and with a bit more time and money could really be an amazing car. I have just lost the enthusiasm and don't have the time or money these days to spend on a car, even a Corrado :( £3500 or a sensible offer (a lot less than the conversion alone would cost you!) If interested PM me on here or preferably email me [email protected] because my phone's playing up a bit at the min and in the middle of upgrading, but I'm always checking my emails (web developer so always on a computer!) so email will be the quickest way to get hold of me really. Much love, Rob xx
10. I have one set of original bonnet sound proofing that I've decided to let go of. Purchased from the dealer about 2.5 years ago and has sat in my garage since. It is still in its original packaging which has been opened, but the item is completely unused and as new. £95, will need collecting from Twickenham (TW1) - I don't want to post it for fear of damage.
11. For sale a pair of Corrado Wind Deflectors, made by Heko. In good condition - no cracks. £19 posted. Cheers
12. Brand new un-used JL Audio CP112-W0v3 subwoofer in BassWedge ported enclosure. Sales blurb from JL Audio: "Enclosed Subwoofer System with Single 12WØv3-4 Subwoofer Driver, Dark Gray Carpet (300 W, 4 Ω) - Ported Enclosure This powerful slot-ported BassWedge™ subwoofer system delivers awesome output at an unsurpassed value. The slot-port runs along the bottom of the enclosure and fires on the same plane as the woofer to produce excellent extension and response smoothness. 13. Up for sale I have my Vr6 6 branch manifold, only had this fitted to my car a couple of weeks, but I've changed my mind and am going back to standard, lamba not included, bought off another forum member a few months back. £100 located in Manchester
14. All smoothed and properly tinted and lacquered and are mint - £70
15. As above in good condition - £65 posted. Complete with rubber sealing strip
16. Updated with full info and pictures. Very clean example of the VR6 Blackberry, owned for 3 years and has had no expense spared to make it a good quality, everyday car. Current mileage 115,100 - used daily so may be slightly different. Work done; - New timing chain (Work by DG Autotech) - KW V3 Suspension - Adjustable rebound/dampening and height - Cost £1200 new! - 2x front top mounts/wishbones - New Clutch - (Also undertaken by DG Autotech) - DG Autotech cams - DG Autotech re-map - DG Autotech head light loom upgrade - 2 x new front tyres - (roughly 1000 miles ago) - Red stuff brake pads - Alpine CD player with Ipod and Bluetooth. - Built in hands free. - Body work touched up and rust spots removed. Bad points, The car occasionally stalls at low speed, when crawling to a set of traffic lights or coming to a stop. This is most likely due to a corroded air mass meter connection and doesn't cause any real issues, also the hand brake gator has snapped, I have the pieces it just needs fixing. The car has a TOAD CAT 1 alarm as standard, 6 months TAX and MOT and comes with full service history through a VW specialist. All extras work well, heated seats, spoiler and sun roof in good working order. View this car and you will appreciate the quality and care given. Selling as I need a work horse, and this is too good a car to spoil.

19. It's a sad day, but we are down-sizing and going diesel, so the vRS has to go :( Registered in August 2005 (05 reg). Bought as a pre-reg, so 1 previous owner on logbook, although it has in reality only had one owner (me!) Black Magic Half-leather vRS interior 84K miles Full History (some Skoda, some local VAG specialist) Cambelt being replaced 28th March Tax August MOT August (passed the last one with no advisories) V5 present Excellent tyres all round 4 X recent coilpacks under official Skoda recall Factory options: Heated front seats Rear parking sensors Passenger airbag deactivation switch in glovebox Mods: 17" Octavia vRS Spider Alloys (instead of standard 16" Spiders found on the Combi) Performance Torque remap (approx 214bhp) Forge 007p Recirculation Valve Brembo front discs EBC Red Stuff pads all round R32 rear wishbone bushes Bad points: There are a couple of dings and scuffs and stone chips (front bumper). This car has been absolutely magnificent! It has been 100% reliable and never let us down. It's both fast and very practical- the perfect family car. It's not a show winner, but a good honest car that is mechanically sound. As the cambelt has just been done, no need to worry about that for another 40K. I will add pics tomorrow. Looking for £2850 ono
20. VR6 | Aqua Blue Pearl | West Yorks, Leeds Price: £450 Description: Hello, I advertised this earlier in the year and it received a lot of interest, a lot of the inquiries went no where and it didn't end up getting sold, it now sits in my unit and I have started doing bits to it but due to financial restraint amongst other things it must go. I'll sum up; I bought this car last year, as a complete car. A 1993 Aqua Blue Pearl VR6 as a bit of a stop gap car, with the intention of eventually restoring it. I drove it around for a few months and had no problems, it then blew a radiator return hose on the MOT ramp (hose was just perished with age) and I had to limp it home. I left it in the garden a bit de-motivated, the tax ran down and then I got another car. It then got semi stripped when I got a good offer on the leather interior. This then turned into a few more items, although nothing too major is missing, the MISSING list is as follows; Rear bench seat Rear door cards Rear bulb holders Rear plinth Front grill Headlamps & fogs Heater controls Gear gator & stick I have sourced some very good condition front cloth seats that will come with it. As I was planning on deleting the rear seats entirely. Aside from those items the car is complete, all of the running gear is intact. The sump gasket is brand new and just been replaced by me, I have a replacement rocker cover gasket that I have not fitted yet. The engine runs and the gear box is in perfect working order, it has done the usual Corrado galactic miles, 166 thousand or so, but I've got a box full of invoices and history, every MOT since new. I've just been tidying the underside up so I've spent a bit of time under the car. The wish bones have recently been rust proofed and painted by me, they also have some sort of sport poly bushes in. The car also has some unknown brand adjustable dampers on (I even have the damping key) It sits on the original speedlines that have been refinished in anthracite at some point. The window, spoiler and sun roof motors are still in. Off the top of my head, the spoiler works very slowly and only manually. I've got a first aid kit & a space saver spare I'll throw in. Rot wise, it's very minimal. On the body theres maybe one small scab on the drivers door and a few small bubbles on one arch. There's a panel that sits under the rad that looks a bit worse for wear but I've seen that go on a few Corrados, not sure what its called but its not structural. Any surface rust I found under neath (ie on the sub frame) has been cleaned and treated and painted. All body panels are still intact and have no dents in. The paints actually very good. Basically I just want it gone, it will run & drive onto a trailer, or roll. It's empty of oil currently as I changed the sump gasket but I can always re-fill it, even if its just to prove it runs fine. The front needs some pads but it will stop on the hand brake. I've even started refurbing the calipers.. Don't get me wrong, it is a project. But it is a 90% complete car that drives and a good starting point for somebody or for a donor vehicle to help another VR6 live. There is value in the parts left so I'm not going to GIVE the car away, but turn up with anything between £400-£450 and I'll happily let you trailer it away. Car is located in Birstall, Leeds. Please e-mail ahead if you want to come have a look, I can do most week day evenings and weekends. I'm happy to answer any questions if you want to PM me. I'm sorry the photos aren't the best but they give you a general idea of the current state. http://img17.imageshack.us/img17/3442/corr2z.jpg http://img600.imageshack.us/img600/8101/corr3.jpg http://img560.imageshack.us/img560/8337/corr4.jpg
21. VR6 | Flash Red | Ashtead, Surrey - just off J9 M25 Price: £3,000 ono Description: My gallery thread is here http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?47218-Flash-Red-1993-VR6 These pics are before the splitter was replaced. Will update more fully very soon Highlights are 82k miles Chains, clutch replaced by DG Autotech Gearbox rebuilt by the bloke next door to DG Autotech DG fast road cams DG remap DG headlamp loom Uprated brakes all round plus hand brake cables replaced - all by DG Very good speedlines and tyres - plus two spare speedlines with tyres Undamaged 90 mm splitter Recent Jetex exhaust Bilstein B4s all round Numerous bushes New Aux water pump New MAF Battery and leads have been changed - lots has been done to this car under the guidance of Dave and Graham and plenty of money spent. Dave16V has provided me with his EXCELLENT short shifter and the door handle repair Have cleaned it quite regularly with Auto Glym products - SRP and wax etc and looks good in the sunlight. Cloth interior bad bits - radio is ok but FM only as I suspect there is some wrong wiring to the aerial stopping MW reception. Imagine an easy fix. Stone chips, a few light scratches and a couple of car park dings - the usual for a 20 year old car. Suspect someone more handy than me could sort these out. Box of random bits including cracked 90 mm splitter Just got it's MOT Some tax left MORE DETAILS Heater - yes it's fine but one of the dials is a bit stiff in certain positions but they all work fine - probably just old age - the the heater is fine and leak free. Service history is a bit patchy - there are a few years where a "Home Tune" man has done some servicing. (A man with a van who comes round to your house and does it on the drive). Hence why had DG do a full overhaul on it. I therefore consider that despite the patchiness the care and attention in the last three years makes up for it. Sunroof is there and slides and tilts, mirrors fine (I cleaned the switch a couple of years ago and they work), windows are fine too. ICE is a let down - a kenwood head unit which I think is suffering from strange wiring and the speakers are standard. Alarm is a clifford concept 300 with two blippers. I have loved the Corrado ownership but with the need to drive further afield for work on a regular basis and start chauffeuring my elderly parents around it's time for a change. More details to follow.
