I didn't really look that much, was only after coming back on here i realised it must have been your car.

 

I've got a 4-5week wait until i know about mine, might be a quick job for them, but i think i'd rather them strip it all and check everything else. I reckon something has blocked an oil jet.

 

was yours the blue one outside?

swapped the oil pressure switch and took her for a blast down the m20. fixed it! so happy!!!!

gear linkage cable end bit snapped off. Just got to track one of those down now.

bought a new turn ring for steering wheel and the updated version has extended plastic lugs which need shaving to fit the corrado steering wheel...

Yer I recon mines snapped off or something as they only cancel one side and it sounds like a bit of plastics stuck in there

So that's what it is. I assumed it was the spring contacts scraping on the metal tracks. Only happened since putting a new steering wheel on.

Mine used to scrape, but i stopped it and didn't need to cut anything off, think i just left the wheel on and rubbed a credit card around the gap, might have put a bit of grease on it as well, but only a small amount
