vr6storm 0 Posted September 14, 2003 They look nice but i really like the look of the stock bbs wheels on the 92 VR6's. ????? What do they look like? very similar if not the same as the stock BBS's that G60's came with.........well the early VR that Autocar tested in april 1992 had them.......in fact very early UK VR's also had the campaign(same as early mk3 golf 16v's) alloys too mbbiker is from the states so i would guess their early SLC's had the BBS rims
VR6 0 Posted September 14, 2003 Anyone know if the wheels on Danilo's C.... http://corrado.atx-hosting.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=187 ....are still available to buy? Probably cost an arm and a leg even if they are still available!
stevemac 0 Posted September 14, 2003 Darkish wheels suit black cars much better than chrome IMO.

VR6 0 Posted September 14, 2003 Cheers mate :) Will post back with some results....
dubster82 0 Posted September 14, 2003 very similar if not the same as the stock BBS's that G60's came with They must be quite rare then? Darkish wheels suit black cars much better than chrome IMO. Prefer the chrome (ish) wheels better. think darker wheels on a black car looks a bit too dark sometimes.
vr6storm 0 Posted September 15, 2003 They must be quite rare then? well after looking more closely they appear to be identical to the o/e BBS's as fitted to Golf VR6's........as for rarity.....they are probably highly rare on a UK spec Corrado(unless retro-fitted) but would imagine them being fairly common on (mainland) europe and other markets during the VR's early life.......cos as you'll notice by the date and the pic of the one on the scan below its german registered and LHD a few months prior to its official UK launch........the germans had them as early as september
cramer 0 Posted September 15, 2003 I don't like them on the Corrado.
capnahab 0 Posted September 15, 2003 not to my taste on a corrado. But each to his own!
