CTWG60 0 Posted November 18, 2008 VW-Motorsport builded also 2 of 16V G60 Corrado, one with 2WD and one with all wheel drive. Extraordinary on this two Corrado
Sonicriot13 0 Posted November 18, 2008 Um, yes. As far as I know this is true. Great engine. Questionable styling....

Yandards 0 Posted November 19, 2008 Kinda covered this now, IIRC correctly there was more than 1 of these 4wd beasts as Karmann crashed one on a test track a long time ago.
Wompa 0 Posted November 24, 2008 Its really interesting to read about Corrados that never hade seen the light. That Limited is seriously uggly but I wonder what happen to his brother, the 4WD Corrado...
Jim 2 Posted November 24, 2008 There is of course another 16VG60 Corrado kept in the Karmann museum. We've seen it a few times now. It's totally standard looking from the outside and relatively standard on the inside (save a bespoke armrest sitting above the handbrake tunnel) - the sticker in the boot says that it's an alpine white G60 but it's a nice sort of dark metallic grey, and if you pop the bonnet it has a genuine VWM 16VG60... rather nice! :)

__Andy__ 0 Posted March 27, 2009 It seems like there is a Corrado Limited in Sweden... but what would i know? http://www.garaget.org/?car=9423 that to me looks like a homebrew 16vg60, doesnt look as neat as the vwm one, and the alternator doesnt quite look right stuffed behind the engine in one of the pics... Wompa 0 Posted March 28, 2009 One thing... the 16V inslet doesnt look like the ordinary thing you would find on a 16V GTi, is that because its made by VWMS? Besides that its a great looking car with a mean engine bay! VWMS did know what they where doing! But its a pitty that VWMS dont tune any of the new VW that is for sale so we can se some mean GTi on the street!
