That's retail - did you ask for club discount? should be £33.50 + vat each.

Brembo - they are ok but don't last like the VAG ones do or come with that coating on them.

Try a TPS centre if you have one near

Lol. I just ordered a set through a TPS account I have access to. Didn't ask about price, although the guy did suggest I should go non-gen. Think it's going to be >£500 total though. :(

It covers the bells and all the surfaces that are not swept. Makes them look tidier.

The VAG disks are balanced too...

ahhh, thats something i understand now.

my rear ones look crap, everything else is new, but its just certain parts of the disc are rusty

Well if you want to be a bit pikey, you could clean the disk up and spray it with VHT paint, trying not to paint too much of the swept area, although the pads will clean them back up.

I didn't ask about discount and he didn't mention it although he usually does give it.

Yes there is aTPS branch in Notts, I'll give them a call.

£60 for Brembo's seems ok but really wanted VAG. I'll see what TPS come back with.

While I'm on the subject of brakes, the VAG pads are equally expensive for the rear - recommend a decent set from GSF/ECP etc?

Thanks again chaps.

Got the GSF Brembos + EBC Redstuff pads on the vRS- very impressed with the setup. The pads are the same compound as the Black Diamond fast road pads, but cheaper. Got them from Venom. The discs are superb- as mentioned above, various parts are painted so they don't rust + they have a wear indicator.

Thanks Andy, to be honest it looks like I'll be going for cheaper discs rather than VAG.
