I think I've got most of those parts in Stainless.

 

Very good work there Chris, you've got an awful lot of cleaning to do once you start using the car.

Thanks Sean, zinc plating is great but once you start, you just end up looking for more bits to do. I've even done the dipstick tube!

Cheers Dave, I did think about getting some done in stainless at work but wanted to keep a bit more original. The car doesn't really go out in bad weather so shouldnt be to bad I hope!

Sorry to keep posting pictures, if it was printed it would be like a flick book of the build!

 

Got my brakes discs skimmed and painted and fitted the brakes today:

Back then Chris we all knew this was up there with the absolute best, a year later it was on RSs, pictures available if needed and now its even better..

Wouldnt mind some more pics, i struggle to get good ones.

I was really lucky that Bill's car was for sale when i started looking for one, it was a great base to start with.

 

got the gearbox painted and it looks great, will post a picture when I get all the yellow zinc parts back on.

Got the gearbox complete tonight after picking up the powder coated end cover.

 

So this was before:

I'm glad I didn't show my gearbox in my thread, although I cleaned it up, it still looks a little mucky.

Started assembling various parts on the engine tonight ready for putting it back in on Thursday! Can't wait to get it back in the car again.
