ah k, rang em 2day for a quote on ahm a scooby, wouldnt touch me less i was over 30 the kind lady told me lol, tho what im paying with them for me G60 is the same as tesco would want for a seat cupra r and slightly less than a s3, ummmm, im sure it changes weekly...(was board n sum hoe eneded up lookin for random insurance quotes:P)

Adrian Flux Quoted me £498 but for peace of mine and been with brentacre few yrs stayed with them even thou it is £60 more

I am insured with Chris Knott who gave me the cheapest quote, only beat flux by £4, but every penny counts. I am a member of the corrado club of gb, I mentioned this to them and they said they'd try and match my cheapest quote. £420 for me and other half, tpft.

 

I got a quote from First alternative for £350 fully comp but they wouldn't insure other half cos he was seen to be a higher risk than me even though I'm the one with speeding points! So had to go tpft with chris knott.

Went to a few online places and got a qoute from Norwich union-fully comp-of £408. :D

 

Although that was without mods declared,so I can problably ad another £200 quid to that,if they agree to insure it....... :roll:

Might sound a bit cheesy but I tried elephant.com 'cause the girlfriend got a good quote from them.

780 for a 2.0 16v corrado. I'm 24, no NCB, no points.

I don't actually have one yet but been getting quote for when I find the right car. Anyway best I've had so far.

That time of year of year again. I have been with Direct line they were the best by far last year allowed me to transfer the no claims from my bike to the Corrado as well. The price from them has gone down this year but I tried Brentcare - great bunch and Elephant online. Elephant are less than £350 fully comp with mods declared. :D :D

Bliming Adrian Flux bout to take them up on an ins quote and then they say 'actually as a young driver there is an extra premium' so the excess would be £550!

 

Got to go back to the drawing board again.

 

I've cancelled my renewal with Elephant, does anyone know if i can now go back as a new customer as that will save me £100!?

I made a great saving this year through the confused.com website. You have to fill in loads of details but they then process it through other websites on your behalf. Saves you loads of time and helps you rule out a load of insurers in one go.

 

I am 33 and got £280 fully comp with Direct Choice - £over £100 cheaper than my next best quote. Note though that this was for a 100% standard C and they won't cover any mods at all.

hybrid, I've just taken out a policy with Lancaster and would recommend them (so far). £413 fully comp including breakdown cover with exhaust, filter, bhp increase and lowering declared. They started out as the MG owners club specialist, but have diversified.

fully comp 450 with elephant all mods declared the mods didnt affect the premium they are just listed maybe they have an upper limit people dont seem to mind mods nowa days! and speeding convictions disclosed (got caught over 100mph :oops: ) best ive ever had never bother with fully comp normally

Admiral are the boys for me. I'm 23 and have no previous insurance on my own. Got a 1990 valver with alloys and lowered.

Bell Ins - £385 with 3 yrs ncd on a VR - I'm 25. Must be Isle of Man insurance. Asked about mods (Schrick + BMC Carbon CDA alloys) and they said it would be "alright" - presume that means no more.
