science 0 Posted October 24, 2014 (edited) After over 4 years of ownership and spending all my time sorting mechanical issues I've had some time to tart up the old girl with new bonnet, front bumper and tailgate. There's still more to do, better condition doors to fit, and the wheels to paint, the list never ends... For now, she's starting to look better, here's some mediocre car park photos; Edited October 24, 2014 by science

fla 9 Posted October 24, 2014 that does look nice. The fogs and indicators look interesting - freshens the front end.
science 0 Posted October 24, 2014 that does look nice. The fogs and indicators look interesting - freshens the front end. I switched to inpro projectors with an aim to improve light output, decided it needed the fogs and indicators to match. They were a bit too bling, so they received a light smoke tint, I haven't got around to tinting the headlights. I'm not convinced they will stay, I might change back to standard if I can improve the light output.

science 0 Posted November 2, 2014 (edited) Installed new Bremi leads today imported from Germany. They are supposed to be OEM, but they don't work well with the Corrado HT lead tool. The rubber above the metal shield is a bit too wide for the tool, but it does fit with perseverance. Nice extra insulation where the accelerator cable crosses the leads though. delfinis38 1 Posted September 29, 2015 did the cam cover come originally with the painted VR6 DOHC or is it something you have done yourself.... mine is just gold to match the cover.
science 0 Posted September 29, 2015 The cam cover is OEM. I think it's from a late Mk3 Golf. Didn't realise is wasn't a Corrado part when I bought it, but I kinda like it now.
