Green Corrado VR6

Green Corrado VR6

I bought this green VR6 to save from being scraped. It came to me with a suspected gearbox problem which is now fixed. Been using as a daily since. I now have works vehicle coming after Christmas so this is surplus to requirements now and would rather see it used than sit in a shed.

The first picture is how I bought it blind.

It was re-sprayed last year by the previous owner. There is little signs of rust and looks mega shiny. The underside is very good apart from at one jacking point a small jack has been used in the past an dented (bit if wire brushing and new underseal)

MOT July 2015

Eyebrow spoiler

Jetex Stainless exhaust

Coilovers

Tinted headlights, fogs and indicators

Cloth early interior

Mocal oil cooler

Comes with BBS rs in 16s and also some standard speedlines for the winter.

It has 191k on the clock but pulls very well. There is no history with regard to rebuild but very quiet.

Work done since I have owned the car is:

? New osf hub knuckle

? Fitted 280 steering wheel

? Fitted speedlines

? Uprated headlight loom

The problems I have identified so far is:

? one speedline centre cap missing

? Rear spoiler not working (working on switch so think it?s the box)

? Wing mirrors not moving

? Slave cylinder faulty (have one to replace it with)

? Pulling a little to the left (so tracking need doing properly)

? Front spoiler cracked

? VR6 engine cover missing

? Heater only works on 4

? Some interior need putting back on (but shall replace/supply any parts that I have)

? A little lazy starter after left for the weekend (will investigate further)

I am planning on fixing these problems when I have some spare time.

I know some of the problems sound daunting but after using it for a month this is all I have found so I would suggest a pretty good example.

Price wise I am asking for ?2700ono

God i wish i could snap this up..

Solve all my bodywork issues in one go, even the same dam colour..

Chris, what's the colour code? LC6U?

I wonder if it'd make it back to Rome, driven..?

What's the chances of removing that horrible headlamp tint?

Haha Andy

Bit of heat I am sure it could be removed. Was done prior to my ownership. Will double check colour code.

It should make it it has been used as a daily for nearly 18 months.

Would be a canny road trip for sure!

I'm seriously looking into this chris, i'll never get my car finished and it's been dormant since '09..

It's the bloody Italian burocracy that's the killer, you have no idea how difficult it is to import a car from the uk to here..

All i need is the shell and body work, transfer my turboed 9A valver engine, Recaro seats, wheels and it's done.

Let me kindly know the code.

Thanks.

I did home to Rome banger rally a few years ago in a merc E class as member of a 4 man team, we drove home I under 24 hours just stopping for food and ferry etc.

1348 miles to my home address, we left Rome at mid day and was in my own bed 24 hours later (7 long days driving in total).
