black pop rivet size

Does anyone know the size of the rivets that are used on the front panel black plastic covers. The ones around where the bonnet pins go in through and the centre trim part which are all mounted on top of the slam panel

finally got the rivets from VW. Unfortunately they are no longer black so i may have to paint them, unless i can take one somewhere to find a better replacement.

Look like 1/8(3.2mm)rivets to me, but could be 3/32(2.5mm). Chris if you need any rivets, let me know, and I'll get you some from work.

I don't know the size. I'll take them out with me over the next couple of days and see if an engineering place can tell me

Finally I've got round to this so apologies for the late reply. The ones I got from VW are indeed 4mm rivet and 9mm length APPROXIMATELY.

But they came silver! !! So I've been ordering black aluminium ones from ebay. I made the wrong decision again. ..in ordering the wide flange ones. These stick past the trim so I've just ordered standard head ones. They seem a nice snug fit but I've only seen 10mm length. Hopefully when these come I get to fit and I'll post a picture up.

Question?

Is there anywhere on the forum where we could keep info like this all in one place. Ie just the rivet size and for where, not all the chats that got us to here.

Possibly silly question, where did you get the small square bit the bonnet hook hits, dealer?

No, all from VW Heritage. I can't remember if they got them in from classic parts. I'll try and dig out my receipt but I do know it was one of the few Corrado parts that didn't involve me selling a kidney 😆

C535-823-491 sliding shoe £2.30 plus vat

C535-823-599 cotter pin hood corrado £2.68 plus vat (2 required )

All purchased January this year.
