Corrado prices

Recommended Posts

I see prices of corrados have risen a lot recently, but are any actually selling at that price? Autotrader has had the same cars on it for months and I get the feeling the cars are only worth what people are willing to pay for them. Where are we thinking the corrado will be priced in 10 years time?

On the CCGB stand at the Bath & West show we had folk looking to buy a Corrado and asking for.advice. One even offered Kev 7k for his VR! So, the interest is there. As for actual sales...

Used to be 100 or so for sale on pistonheads a few years back. Definitely a lot less for sale. Even on the forum.

About 6/7years ago I got my first one a 2.0 8v I think. Mint condition for £700. Then I got a rusty VR6 that needed some tlc for £1200 2-3 years later.

Then I got my current one in March for £1300. Needing lots of Odds and sods doing to it but still road worthy. ( although right this second I'm in a recovery truck because the gear linkage snapped )

Looking at sold listing similar to my first Rado, I will be looking to part with £3-4000 for the same condition. (At least as I remember it)

10 years I reckon we'll be easily looking at £8-10k or more. And probably 2k for a bottom end 'project car'.

If I had the cash I'd buy up all I can and sit on them for a few years.

I'd been trying for a while to track values, specifically the G60. The only way I could come up with was to create a script that looked at completed ebay listings...That was a couple of years ago now...And the values haven't been great to be honest. In fact they are currently the highest they've been for a good while.

Bottom of this page - http://www.corradog60.co.uk/how-many-left.php

I know ebay isn't the best place to gather the info from as it may not take into account any specialist cars, but as an average, for the average owner/potential owner maybe...

Another Storm for sale. The reg number looks familiar, I wonder if it was someone on here?

ive only just seen this - i had a week off last week

the gf is likely to not be happy! andrew from DTC brought it off her end of last year via ebay

he turned up many hours later than scheduled, though with notice, but it was dark & damp by the time he got there - not the best condition to view a car

long story short he moaned rather a lot & then offered many hundred notes under the his ebay winning price

now he is trying to make £5K on it after telling us he wanted it as a keeper

it doesnt even look like he/they have done anything to it since buying

lying piece of **** salesman!!

yup she is fuming!!

more at the fact that the guy completely lied through his teeth - saying he always wanted a storm, it was not going to be sold on, going to be stored & worked on blah blah bullsh1t bullsh1t & was so negative about the car when she had worked so hard to get it sparkling

oh & no mention if he has done the chains - as that was a big issue for him!

My G60 has been on the market for 2.5k for a while now and only had the one viewing. The paintwork lets it down but it's original and on the road but just not getting the interest I expected sadly. There are a lot of dreamers out there with their estimated values though. Even if I was to put new paint on it I couldn't envision getting more than 3.5k just now so not really worth it.
