EJ Taylor 22 Posted July 26, 2016 It's all VW or VW specialist history by the way. With all due respect Paxman, dont ever take up car sales for a living. haha.
paxman 0 Posted July 26, 2016 You're not wrong.... Losing thousands on this one
MikeVR6 0 Posted July 26, 2016 This is where eBay would have been handy. £5k reserve and take it from there. If only there were a way to sort out genuine enthusiasts from Traders. Maybe by looking at how many posts they've made on here? :)
g0ldf1ng3r 15 Posted July 26, 2016 I see where you're coming from, i dislike anyone who buys something and then sells it not long after for more money. Antiques dealers and all those bargain hunt/pickers programs i can't stand, All the same, Go into a shop, pick up something for £20, moan about the price and end up getting it for £10, then they sell it at auction for £20. All those sort of people are a waste of space. I'd feel a right arsehole being that middleman. indeed Jim they are arshole's indeed my gf was fuming when we saw the ad of her storm go up. the guy even promised he would give my gf 1st refusal if he 'ever' sold it. i would like to see the man again purely so i could stamp on his bollocks until he passes out with the pain lol
paxman 0 Posted July 26, 2016 True! We'll see how it goes. Just updated main post with more info. I've done so much to it over the years it's hard to remember it all!
MikeVR6 0 Posted July 26, 2016 Same with mine. I often look at Corrado Ads and think "oh I've done that and that and that...." :)
MarkR 11 Posted July 26, 2016 With all due respect Paxman, dont ever take up car sales for a living. haha. Very tempted to buy it myself as an investment! Although it lacks the originality of some of the recent sales, this car has got to be worth £7k all day long.
paxman 0 Posted July 26, 2016 Mark if I had a garage still I would be doing just that! But it kills me looking at it in the rain!
ozone 10 Posted July 26, 2016 Have to agree with most of the guys on here its very cheap and will attract many greedy traders, paxman your car is simply stunning mate, maybe you should look at long term storage or something to that degree if your not in any hurry to sell. Personally, I'm so tempted, but i'd get crucified if i purchased another car.
MikeVR6 0 Posted July 27, 2016 Ultimately, it's worth what someone is willing to pay. You've a young Family, your duty to them is to get the most you can for the next Family Car or Holiday or whatever. It would be nice if an Enthusiast purchased it but you need to recoup your investment. List it on eBay with loads of pix, a good Reserve and the note that it is advertised elsewhere so you reserve the right to end the Auction.

paxman 0 Posted July 30, 2016 Thanks for the interest guys. I'm changing price to 4500 set price rather than offers but I won't budge under as it includes the box of goodies...
Ray1965 10 Posted July 31, 2016 (edited) Just read the thread good price for a storm, agree little on the cheap side for what sounds like to be a good car. Liked the comment dont ever be a car sales man..lol :bonk: So a new question to you all what does a "normal" Corrado bring VR6 with say 91k on the clock good history and in good condition? Flexso 0 Posted July 31, 2016 Can someone please buy this car already. If I had the cash I would have it off you straight away. 😩
BILLCOR 1 Posted July 31, 2016 Haha I've still got a sell it though so it's worth what's offered! Didn't want to be greedy so I thought offers above maybe fairer. Someone's coming Saturday to look. Did the person turn up yesterday?
paxman 0 Posted July 31, 2016 He did but he was looking for a minter and although mines nice it's not Mint all round. Think a mint storm would cost a hell of a lot more than mine. Another member has given me a deposit pending getting funds in and coming to look. Cheers Jim
