VR6 wanted

On the look out for another car and considering another Corrado. Not looking for any rust buckets or projects. Something decent but doesn't have to be mint or show worthy.

Mystic blue storm? I'm toying with the idea of selling mine as work and family commitments mean I don't have time for it right now.

 

It's quite modified (all reversible) but if you are looking for something standard then it's probably not worth buying to return to standard.

 

Quick run down:

-122k, runs perfectly, had chains done as a precaution at 80k by d&g.

-Solid shell, some rust on front edge of bonnet from stone chips.

-schrick intake manifold, carbonio and draft designs cold air intake, jetex cat back, power flow sports cat, remap.

-Porsche front brakes, mk4 rears with 280mm discs.

-compomotive mo5's with good tyres, mint condition rims.

-recaro half leather seats.

-double din satnav, iPod stereo. Ddi dials and red led conversion on switches.

-black alcantara retrim to everything above door card height.

Long story short the 911 went this weekend to help pay for house improvements. Still have the RS4 and running a T5 Shuttle as a daily. Thinking about another but might get a Mk5 Golf Gti or something like that. Just seeing whats out there at the moment.

Still on the look out folks. £5500 is upper limit but leaves no extra so I'm not looking for anything at that price that need something fixed.

Have you tried the owner to see if he's willing to sell it back?

He probably would but at current market so pointless. It would be £3500-4000 now maybe more when compared to some of the cars on the market at the moment.

 

Try not to go back to cars once sold and I want to try different spec.

what's your final want list mate? I'll try to keep my eye out

To be honest anything with decent spec and with usual things done like suspension and exhaust. Body in good condition and good service history. Preferably with chains at very minimum inspected or replaced. Ideally Id like a mystic blue storm if Im honest, something like Roger Chatfields old car.

 

 

There are a few on the go that tick a lot of boxes but not jumping in yet.

For what Im looking at it will be around my budget as the cheaper cars all have some turn off.

 

I have potential Std-ish blue Storm in great condition or a 96k miles std-ish blackberry in great condition to consider at the moment.

Sorted now, agreed a deal on the Blue Storm last night.

 

Did have another one lined up but deal fell through for a few reasons. Timing just not right for both parties, shame as it was a cool car.

I think Jim is selling his VR6, if your still in the market. Glad you haven't sold the RS4, it's on my bucket list of cars to own. After my S4 was smashed up, went to look at a RS4, but didn't have the cash at the time, one day maybe.
