Hello All, Been away for a bit, thought I'd pop up and say hey again. What better way than with a problem... My C, bless it is a) smelling like fuel at idle b) suffering from mucho blackened exhaust c) chowing through fuel like there's no tomorrow (about 330 miles to the tank, with M'way!) d) smoking when cold, with fuel smell. Is she over fuelled? And where's the adjuster for it? Is it on the throttle body? TIA all, any help much obliged. Randal :)

What is it with Americans and leaving HUGE gaps between the tyre and the arch? Man, it looks like my car. (but I intend to drop it 40mm - one day!)

Methinks a bleed is in order....

The ones on my early valver are grey with the "Corrado" logo on the bottom. They've also got 2 plastic poppers to keep them in place - drivers side only mind. Bummer is you need the carpet to mount them on. I'll take some pics tomorrow, got to dash out now. hth randal
-
Yep, need to jigger around with the mounts - but it can be done. I couldn't be arsed so I lopped them off with a dremel, drilled some holes and zip tied it on. You'd never know the difference. Well, until you need to get access behind it. I've seen people pop rivet the old mounts onto a new grille, so you can still use the push catches. It's possible, and in retrospect a much better way than my hungover grille dremel mashing. HTH randal

What a tool  Wonder if that one would go for £13K on ebay...

WHAT DID YOU SAY? Craig's Bro touring with Yellowcard? C'MON! Can see that being a drunken gig day :D Kinda makes sense them touring together, just hope they come to the UK. CB arn't so well known over here, Yellowcard are certainly on the up though. Might have something to do with that MTV2 award - I just hope they don't go the Blink 182 route. Too many good bands seem to be selling out. :| You might have to get me an autograph or 4 off them for me :D That's pretty freekin cool about them living so close. I'm jealous  New EP is superb, track 4 especially. Mind you they've all grown on me. Not like the 1st two CD's, soon as I heard Insult to Injury I was hooked. Lost at Sea, Back and Forth, Dear Charlotte and One too actually :D Ooops, dare say we've gone a bit :offtopic:  -

Pretty much the same here too, metal/punk/hardcore. Lagwagon, NUFAN, Incubus, Craig's Brother, Pennywise, Get up Kids, Funeral for a Friend to name a few. Country music can bite my shiny metal a$$. Can hear the similarities between her and Bjork, the bird from FF seems to have the same vocal inflections as her. Music is close too, also very like Lamb. Now that's a good band. Ta for switching me on to them, nothing like a bit of diversity and all that. :) -

Just got that Frou Frou album, bloody good that. Straight into the car (and the what do you listen to in your corrado post) :D -
Tch, SO uneducated! It's Irn Bru. Coat fetched, I'll be on the lookout for the door trying to hit me in the arse... :D
-
Get yer Iron Bru out! Looks good, did you make the base out of MDF?

That is an awesome watch, do like that. That song compliments the video very well. Did especially like the first 'S' bend in the middle, almost looked too perfect and polished a la TV advert style! Did get me laughing at the end "my (something) popped out." "really?" "yep" "weak". Tickled me good. Right, off to find that band now... ta-ta randal -
Personally, I think you'd be insane to sell it. You've modified the exterior, interior to such a high standard - it would only be rude not to compliment it with a new lump and drivetrain. You know it makes sense, the little voice in your earing whispering "4 motion... 4 motion..." knows it too :D

One last shameful bump
-
Damn, OK - sounds like a better option considering. Just can't be arsed with being a n00b again. Thanks for the pointer all the same bloke :D Any news btw?

Shameless bump :D

Just wondering how difficult it is to get hold of an SLC in Texas really? Also, what sort of money are we looking at for a decent condition rado? TIA randal

Hmmm, actually in retrospect it might have been a campaign clone. Anyone with a genuine campaign would have parked 3ft away from the kerb! Was it grey too btw?
-
It's a campaign by the sounds of! You lucky whatsit! Bloody rare, and gorgeous! :D
-
Sounds like a belt slipping, or metal on metal grinding. Charger? (resident expert to the rescue please!)
-
It's not actually that bad tbh, bit of a lengthy job and can be a little frustrating. But worth the near silent results at the end. Matt and dinkus - I've experienced both. I laughed my ass off when I read those one after another. :D

Strip the whole thing down. Swear. Cover the back, corners, sides of everything that touches everything else in black felt. Swear. Re-assemble. Swear. Find Bumpy road Hoon it. Grin :D

I totally forgot this one! John from JMR's 16v G60! Not many pics of it floating around, but it is truly amazing in the flesh. Everything from the amazing effort under the bonnet, the side skirts, to the ride height, exhausts the works - it really is a stunner. Needs more pics to show it off!

Gotta be Henny's, no question about it. Managed to get a matey at work addicted to it, he's read the Member's Gallery post over and over and over. I think he actually shed a tear by the end of it!
