you have to remove the instrument cluster to get to it and its plugged into the back of that.

theres quite a lot on the search about this, but anyway, When i fitted mine i used the pipe that feeds into the dash pod. just cut it, fitted a T pipe and was sorted 8) I also mounted mine in the slot for the stereo, as I didnt have one, but others mount theres on the A pillar, pods are available all over the Web! ebay, halfrauds etc etc.

yeah same here. You never know tho, this may turn out to be a blesing in disguise, mine was. Wrote my G60 off, made £1300 profit on the car and got a VR 8) Keep that 4 leaf m8, and best of luck with wotever you choose to do!

Trouble is im not 100% sure whos doing it. There are about 7 or 8 houses that share that part of the car park, and I think its coz Im not part of them houses that whoever it is has taken exception. And there was me thinking my Car Tax gave me as much right to park my car as everyone else.... :roll:

Im so miffed :mad: For the second time in only a few months, Ive had to park round the corner from my house and some one has knicked my Aerial!! It is literally 5 yards from where I usually park, but I guess its "someone else parking spot" and theyve taken exception to the fact that I drive a better looking car than them to55ers..... I cant understand people like that. If its so important for them to park there, why didnt they just come round and ask me to move my car! I would have done it no problem. No, they have to resort to immature means and steal something. c0cks..... Anyway, does anyone have any suggestions for replacement aeriels? Preferably ones that are harder to steal?

Went out in my new VR this morning and noticed something. I've been driving quite over-sensible this week, due to lack of funds for petrol, so again I was driving like a "Grandad" (no offence intended for the Gramps out there ;) ). I got to a T Junction and gave her a little bit of welly to get out in front of another car, and as I did so, I looked into my rear view mirror and noticed some smoke, not a huge amount, with a slight blue tinge to it, I think. I say I think coz I only saw it for a split second, and the car behind the smoke was blue as well. Could it just be that she hasnt really been over 2k revs for a week and this was the first booting she'd had, or is it something a lot more serious? :(

that gold badge was all my own work! :lol: Was spraying up a m8's Astra in one of there Gold's, had some paint left over, the badge had all faded so fort "hmm....i wonder what that......." ;)

Glad that my old girl has got a good new home m8! Good luck with the repair, Ive still got the whiplash from that dam Range Rover :x Apart from that i think you'll be extremaly happy with her. I had 2 years of great joy with that car, but since the accident I kinda fell out of love with her, got a result with some money and got my VR. Keep us all updated with the progress m8, cant wait to see her in the flesh again all fixed up! 8)

well im all sorted now :) theyve given me a decent settlement figure and my car back for free! I can now sell her on, either as is, seeing as its only cosmetic damage, or get her fixed up for peanuts (coz its only a new boot lid and respray at rear) and sell her for close to what she's worth :) 1 happy bunny here :D

ok, so you've got rid of the pics, oh well. in teh magazine it looks sweet as from the rear and side, i really like it, much better than the mk5

abso-bloomin-lutly. My G60 has around 175k on the clock, But I know that the first 140k of that was trundling up n down the motorways at 70-75mph. She's also had the oil changed at least every 6k. She still pulls superbly well, and is IMO an excellent engine. Its amazing how long well looked after VAG engines go for!

Well, whats quite funny at the moment is they've sent me back some Autotrader adverts for cars that worth more than there offering!! I think I'll send em back and point out the fact that theyve argued my case very nicely thank you! lol

Someone told me that when arguing a payout with an ins.comp., for a write off, they have to offset it against cars that are for sale within a certain mileage of where you live. is that correct?

Slightly ot, but i just managed to get a 1988 Polo with 17,500 miles on it for £150!! Its been sat for 6 years and went thru the MOT needing just wiper blade, bulb and Tyre :) well chuffed!

Went to see a VR yesterday, but it had a slight dent on one side of the sideroof. Is that anything to be concerned about? Also the ABS light wouldnt come on, but there was a pulse thru the pedal. Is that OK?

just seen (or rather heard) a Lambo Diablo drive thru the village i live in! I mean, they dont come much samller than where I live, and theres a Diablo!! Unreal noise! gotta love it!

gradeAfailure, it was rear ended by a range rover :( its only the boot lid (replacement on way) rear panel and bumper that got damaged, no structual damage, just cosmetic, but has come to £3300 by inscomp repairer. It would be a shame to break her, as other than that shes almost mint! thanks for the other info guys, i guess i'll just fix her up, try to sell her and if no joy then i'll look into breaking her up :( I just want to get this all sorted now, ive been without a Corrado for nearly a month now :cry: and i want to get me a VR so I can charge the monster in a few months time
