Cheers guys yes m8, was trying to think of ways to just update the front slightly. Thinking about the clears, maybe the clear headlights as well, and also colour coding the front grille.
  4. when that happened to my G60, my first thought was clutch slave, didnt work and turned out to be clutch release bearings. 1 new clutch solved that!

heh I forgot to post em up  Anyway, better late than never! I actually had the Lupo wipers on in these pics, but since then I've also added the scuttle from the GB, but havnt got any pics yet. I've also put new 215/40/17 Proxes T1-R's and have also had some nice bugger put great big scratch down the side, curtosy of Mr Key  Just got hold of some 312mm Brakes, calipers and carriers as well, but I'm having trouble sourcing the High tensile bolts, so if anyones got any ideas where I can get some in the south beds/Milton Keynes/north bucks area, that would be grand 8) Made just under 200bhp & 190 ftlb at the recent Rolling Road, which I'm very happy with as she's not running 100% throttle apparently! Need to adjust the throttle cable, no idea how yet, havent had a chance to look....I'll get some pics of the new brakes when I get em! Finally, I got charger plans, but still not 100% decided on what yet.....
  6. ive got less than 79k on mine, i feel like im being left behind!! :( but my G60 had over 130k when i sold her.
  7. ive heard and seen G60's with 250k+ before. Like most dubs, look after the engine and it will last a long time!
  8. think ive posted this on here before, but was stuck on the M6 overnight once when snow blocked it. Mway was shut off, and the other way was clear, so they got the snowploughs out and cleared that side completely! Cant remember exactly how long we were there, but it was well over 14 hours....and even then we only got moving because some guys with 4x4's came along and ripped out the central reservations and towed people onto the other side so we could all get going again!
  9. thats not bad m8. Best i managed in my G60 was 15.7@Santa Pod. My VR run @ Inters 06 was my first go out in her, had only had her a few weeks, and I got 15.4 iirc.
  10. cheers Supercharged, just needed to know that. KADVR6, now I know about the discs, i will indeed read up. Thnx again.
  11. Im surprised by this! Does no-one actually know if 256mm rear discs, calipers and carrires from a Mk4 will fit a C?
  12. so can i stick the mk4 calipers and carriers on, and then do i use corrado discs, or Mk4 discs? are they the same size then? (they are from a 25th anni model, so i think are 256mm?)
  13. Just wondering, with the much talked about Mk4 rear caliper conversion, is it just the calipers? hmm, that dont make sence...lol Ok, what I'm trying to get at is that I may have a spare set of brand new mk4 calipers and carriers, so was wondering if I can just slap them on my VR? Are the disc sizes different? I need new rear disc's anyway, so if they are, can i just get mk4 disc's and use them? Final question, what size are the rear disc's on Mk4's & Corrado VR's?
  14. That interior looks sooooooo much better in the flesh! First time I've seen one in the flesh and before I've always thought ugh! far to red, btu in the flesh looks sweet as. 8)
  15. £3000 for a Corrado VR6 with black leather 100k or less, in great condition. Can you really get one like that for that money these days?!?! :?
  16. ahh cheers m8! I appritiate that response! I hadnt even thought of trying Auto in the search!
  17. Been considering getting a 968, but they are not that much quicker than my VR and the insurance was twice the cost! Nah, I'm gonna go silly with my VR for a while, then get a proper Porsche where the enigne is at the back, not the front
  18. I have a really wierd love/hate relationship with the wheels on mine. They were on it when I got her and some days I love em, while other days I cant stand them! I dont even know what they are, but I think they are ACE Matig or something like that. One things for sure tho, they are a POP to clean! 8)
  19. craigowl, as I say, I'm sorry if that came accross all "funny". I just figured that by me asking if anyone could suggest anyone, I figured that surely that is a way for asking for recommendations? Seams like we just got our wires crossed here! But this thread is a classic example of where non-verbal communications can really hamper what someone wants to know. I first asked if anyone had a rough idea of costing from chipsaway. Answers: None. But I dont mind that, as I have learnt that maybe chipsaway are not the best people to use. So I ask if anyone can suggest a competitor to me. By that I ment "Recommend". I garuntee that if we were speaking face to face, you would have known what I ment! anyway......Answers: Google, or paint it myself. :? Google's good if you know what you are looking for, but seeing as I dont know any of their competitors, I dont see how google will help me this time. I have tried searching for various things on google, but all i get are bodyshops. I would do it myself, but a; I dont have the time at the moment and b; I also need some small dings/dents sorting and wouldnt really know where to start with them, but thanks for the suggestion tho. I may try that on the bonnet, if I get the chance.
  20. Hell yeah! Ive been looking at some early 90's 911 964's recently. Can some for under 10 grand now! (for those that dont know the second pic is a 964)
  21. yeah, thanks for that......Google can find em, but i was wondering if anyone could actually suggest anyone, hence Sorry if I sound a bit funny there, but it just annoys me when people just say "use Google". Anyone can use google, I use it god knows how many times a day to help me at work, but when it comes to getting recommendations, I find that Google doesn't really help out that much! Thats why Forums are a fanatastic invention, so people can ask questions and get answers.
  22. oh rite..... Well I didnt even know they had any competitors! Can anyone suggest anyone?
  23. Im with lancaster, on classic, but I cant find anywhere it says about limited mileage? Still at half the price of anywhere else, I aint complaining!
