I dont see any reason why the right sized C-Spanner wouldnt fit, but i dont know the right size :? can anyone shed some light? I also thought FK used Koni shocks, so am surprised that FK ones wouldn't fit! What about the top adjuster tool? Anyone know where I can one of them?

Sorry to dig this up again, but I cant get hold of anyone who will supply any Koni Tools, C-Spanners or the top adjuster! I tried the email at the top, but had no reply :( Anyone got any spare, or know where I can get some, or even let me borrow some! Had my VR for around 3 months I think now, and the suspension just doesnt quite feel like its setup right. Cheers.

Just read the preview in the latest Autocar. they've changed the front ever so slightly, but rest of it looks exactly like the pics above. I'll see if I can get some of the latest pics up.

did u want the wheels done on the yellow car, or the white one?

Turns out mine are coilovers!! Guy I got the car from just said they were Koni TA's, but on closer inspection they are TA & Hight adj. Coilovers! 8) Once I get round to setting them up properly, as in ride hight and damping, I'll report back as how they are. On a different note, I dont have any of the tools needed for the adjusting. Anyone know the best place to get replacement ones from?

its all worth it for the noise alone 8)

Nope, drivers one is original Corrado m8! Passenger side was POP

 classic!

Just a quick question, when peeps say Koni TA, which Koni's are they talking about specifically? Ive got some Koni's on mine, they are top adjustable for damping. They are not Coilovers. Is this the ones?

Its well worth doing m8, dont have to worry about the Handbrakes anymore!! 8)

afaik its all one unit m8, so u'll have to change the whole caliper. Which in turn means doing both sides. Which may make sence to then do the Mk4 Golf caliper upgrade. Do a search, theres loads on here about that :)

The only thing that i think makes the C look dated is the rear lights. Other than that, I agree that Standard looks sweet as. Ride hight is also an issue, but personally dont really see that as much of a mod, as its almost as cheap to lower the car when it needs new suspension, as it is get standard shox/springs!

Couldnt have put it better me self! I spent months debating what to do about mine. Break her? Sell her? Fix her? In the end, the offer I got from the ins.comp. convinced me to sell her to someone who'd fix her up so she'd still be alive, but I'd then have enough to get my VR. the choice you made is right for you m8. You've got the car u love, with good mileage and you know her better than any other VR! 8)

is that not wot the other guy has done? :?

I'll send you a PM about that one m8 ;)
