Kev: I would leave the back of the door speakers alone as the speaker would then act as a sealed enclosure - if you vent it then you risk loosing some of the bass due to the door cavity being too big and the speaker will sound flat instead of punchy and tight. My door speakers are running sealed as mentioned and sound superb - just the dashboard ones having problems with..... Remember these are 13cm speakers - not subs.... 8) Cheers Scott

You do have rights mate as a contractor - at least I do mate!
-
Then you have the: Electrically heated windscreen washers.... Electrically heated mirrors...
-
Yup something all VR6's have.... You can adjust the speed of the intermittant wipers by turning them on then off again - the speed between the two (on/off) denotes the speed delay when they are on... Try it - it works
-
Maybe so but its a STORM therefore you are paying for it being one of only 500 limited editions in the world.... so a rare corrado - thats why they fetch alot more. If you dont want to pay alot for a Corrado VR6 then dont buy a STORM... simple :)
-
LOL LOL  My mates constantly take the mick as even now when I hit 45mph I glimpse in the mirror to see the spoiler popping up.... :-P
-
ah fair enough mate..... 8)

Erm why would you want to put your electric switches there? - dont you now have holes in the doors?
-
I have always sworn by Meguiars waxes mate.... awesome stuff!!
-
It was actually your car pic that convinced the missus I should get one mate  How much are the Kamei one's?
-
LOL - fair point mate and Mr Moderator you should know better :-P

I have been told Prestine are supposed to be very good.....

Well my KICKERS were not plug and play..... I had to modify the rear speaker mounts, front door mounts and I have a nice gap round the hole where old tweeters went for the co-axial 3.5's  Sounds pants too...
-
Yeah dont put two sets of two ways in the front - I have done so and I really am not happy with the sound - something I am hoping to solve somehow without spending more money..... The problem seems to be that both sets of front two ways are getting same output ...which means same level of volume each - so the small 3.5 inch two ways start to break up long before the 5 inch door speakers.... Ideally I need away of blocking off some of the volume from the dash mounts - either that or I buy tweeters and add them to te existing setup.. I have Kicker DS Series... Scott.

Next you'll be saying your using Linux  :-P

Am getting a few little bits together for when I take my VR6 off the road for major engine work... Can anyone tell me where I can get a eyebrow spoiler and some chrome effect 'Corrado' and 'VR6' badges? Also: How do you guys tint your rear lights? Cheers Scott
-
Well I am MCSE so I will be quiet on this one :-P :D I will do a bit of both then.... a thread as I go along and a formal 'HTML / WORD' document.... Cheers Scott
-
I'm not too sure about that as new office products always seem to provide support for older versions.... But like you I think a proper thread :D
-
I shall want special privledges and demand a sticky thread :-P  Seriously though: I shall be writing up a guide with necessary pictures and explantions.... can either be one of two forms... - Either create a new thread and make it sticky and each time I work on the engine I update the thread with pictures / notes and finds.... or - Create a guide in word and post up as an attachment.... Personally I think it would be more interesting for members to follow me through the head rebuild as I work on it.... plus it means I could post up problems as I come across them.... What do you think? Cheers Scott
-
Thats EXACTLY what I am doing for you mate.... will also lots of pics with the digi camera! Scott.
-
lol - fair enough :) As for the rebuild I dont need to save as doing ALL the labour myself :-P
-
I'd lose the repeaters myself but the brakes look quite cool - lovely car though mate!! Scott
