    Hey guy's, so I have had a progressive oil leak on the Rado. Tonight I had it up on a ramp dowsed the whole underside with brake cleaner and managed to trace the source of the leak. What is this hole? Oil is leaking down the side of the block directly from here or possibly from above. I reckon that potentially it's leaking from the crankshaft seal and water pump as well as this core plug or is it an oil galley. Help would be most appreciated. Thanks

    Just to note I reckon the leak has been progressive as I noticed a leak a few months ago, changed out the oil cooler and seals and all was okay until recently.

    Cam cover has never been off during ownership however there is a small leak on the right hand side below the fuel pressure regulator, however it is so minor I decided not to bother. I can't see any leaks from the gasket on the right side of the engine however the rest is obscured by the manifold. You think it's a good chance its the rocker cover gasket? Hopefully it is, easy fix.

    VR6 Oil Leak

    Hi guys, decided to drive the VR6 to work today and when I got home I noticed drops of oil all down the drive, took a look underneath and the right hand side is fairy wet, the power steering pump is also covered. Popped the bonnet and noticed the alternator is wet through. I'm going to go ahead and start stripping it down this weekend but any ideas on what the cause of this may be?? Thanks

    Your right on the money pal. Ideal tyre size for 8J 17" fitment. Other consideration is 215.

    They shouldn't require this information unless someone has hacked or money has been sent/withdrawn in a irregular fashion. When you sign up the only verification apart from email and phone confirmation is the authentication of funds deposited into your account. There should be no reason that they need to ask for personal documentation.

    This G60 on ebay, must be from the days of modifying gone wrong. Could be good with some work though.     No sure what the wheels are off, another VW/Audi maybe 16" 7J They came on the car, didn't like them at first however after fitting coilovers and dropping her down I changed my mind. For now anyway.

    No Photos from when I purchased it I'm afraid. My old G60 I Will upload further photos of the interior engine later this evening.

    Hardly any paper work to be honest so I can't be sure. Looks to have been untouched, I don't even know if it has had chains/guides etc.. Floor pan is excellent, Arches, Sills, no rust anywhere!

    I have been a member on here since 2014 when I decided to join with my then owned 91-G60 however I never bothered to partake much or post any pictures. So here is my next Corrado, a VR6 I picked up in March of this year It has come a long way already since then, paint/interior/brakes and various other parts. It has 192,000 miles on her but I didn't care! haha Thanks

    Quite a humorous video on the Corrado, look past the cheesy dealer music of the 80s and there's a good video here :cheers: 6:45 for 16V G60 comparison 7:42 for the best bit :)
