... sigh ... if only. Of the 5 that we know of, two are members cars (but off the road), a third the owner's son did join many years ago, posted twice then disappeared. Another one haven't heard hide nor hare of since 2007, last seen around Cardiff, then there's my old one, in Ireland, but don't think the owner's on here...

24v Converted Aqua Blue Corrado
Campaign replied to k_n_s_jennings's topic in Cars for Sale [Corrado]
What sort of price would you be asking for it now? Bit of a trek for me to come and take a looksee unless I can convince the Mrs and it's worth it... -
C'mon Jim, you know that that kind of information is lost many years ago in the mist of time. It IS Majik's old car, and I thought it a bit odd that the chappy had put the interior up on fleabay so quickly after posting it on FB. Lots of misinformation flying about though 8-)

Bugger all Jimbo, give me your scrapper instead ;)

It's not full, it's missing the dashboard, carpeting, gearknob and gearknob boot. Plus the steering wheel is pretty worn out, and missing it's purple inserts.

They're listed on eBay too, quality is top, using a very high-res scan of the original slide (600+Megapixel if memory serves), and 250gsm quality papers, oh and authorised by VW/BMP Advertising. -

Ah yeah, the Nothelle Classics. I did have a set lined up for my G60, just before selling to get the Campaign. As for fave, you can't beat a Campaign OEM :) Just (slightly biased admittedly) IMHO of course

The Official Corrado Campaign thread (where are they now)
Campaign replied to James.'s topic in General Car Chat
I've just seen this, and rather take offence at this. I should point out that the original advert stated that it was "in need of work to make it immaculate" if somebody wanted to go that way. The fact that the guy was pi**ed when he clicked on BuyItNow on ebay rather wasted about 3 weeks of my time. He was pretty offensive when he came down to see it as well. Shame... The car ended up in Southern Ireland as I understand it. -
Not just 6 in the UK, 6 in the world. However, there are only really 4 left. I needed the monies really at the time, usual reasons I'm afraid.

Why not Jim? I nearly took the plunge last year on one, but ended up with the A5. Always regretted selling the Campaign ;)

... bit rich at the moment... but tempting. Gonna watch this space

The Official Corrado Campaign thread (where are they now)

James, the 6pack.pdf file came from me, and is a reproduction of an article that was in VW/Audi Car back in the day. I'm fairly certain that there was a (very) brief write up in VW Motoring at the same time, but that's all I've ever been able to find. As far as I'm aware the registration in the PDF was never actually a "real" numberplate, on a car - K2 CKD was the car from Coventry, mine was K191 EHE (from memory), I'm fairly certain they all carried K plates originally. I'm fairly certain that all are accounted for in the UK, apart from mine (Gilders of Sheffield car) which was last seen in Ireland.
