  1. Nice VR - I liked those JBWs - the Audi winters look surprisingly good on there too. ;) What are you thinking of putting on now if you're up for swaps?
  2. ...oh and I've swapped the rear inner lights over from my white one on Friday. The ones on the car had been sprayed to tint them - I assume the start of a process to match them to the red outers that Sam kindly gave me with the car? However, they were at a stage where the indicators just looked darker orange than the outers, so wanted to get them matching :thumbleft:
  3. I took some more pics yesterday on my phone for no particular reason!
  4. Very nice Dave, thanks for the links. I'll remember those for when I sort a BMC out ;)
  5. You're not wrong there. Too rich for me at the mo! lol
  6. Yeah you're right it's Treasure Hunt! Anneka Rice, jump suit, back in my early teens - it was a good recipe! :thumbleft:
  7. I have that one in my 95 2.0 16v
  8. Take a look here - http://www.vwgolfmk2.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=37&t=25972 It's for KR 16v but a lot will be similar and I found it really useful when I got my 2.0 16v last year and had running issues. It could just be a combination of a few little things, or just one. I wouldn't have thought it's 5th injector but possible. It may be a bit laborious, but I'd just start at the beginning and just check through everything, make sure all is in fine fettle and check for vacuum leaks too
  9. Ah sorry Pete I thought you meant the space was the fuse! Can't help I'm afraid but am sure someone here can 😉
  10. :thumbleft: Oh and I did a scan today, it came up with one code, 00513 Engine speed sensor G28 – Idle RPM too low/too high or signal malfunction. Done a search on here and it appears that this is normal with the engine off so happy days, nothing to fix!! Didn't expect there to be but it was worth checking ;) Here's the thread I found - http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?t=87418&highlight=Engine+speed+sensor+G28
  11. A couple of times Sam ;) Not had too much chance to actually. It does really come alive then though doesn't it! I remember fitting a cheap induction kit to my old MK3 Golf VR6. Sounded great but as you say, with the hot air it made performance 'stuffy' so it came off after a day or two! From memory the BMC kit has a fresh air feed so doesn't have that problem. I've been looking around and can't see a BMC CDA kit for the C available anywhere now. Does the MK3 Golf VR6 one fit ok anyone know?
  12. VR all the way, you know you want to! :thumbleft:
  13. Got the short shift in to the VR this morning, so nice to have it back! Washed the dirt off the lower flanks too whilst cleaning the white one. Drove it, listened to it and dreamed of BMC CDA :)
  14. Oh poop - I take it the right time is not soon?!
  15. If you like your Corrados then a 944 is a great bet. I've had three and they're cracking cars - and a lot of car for the money. I had an '83 'square-dash' model, which felt like a classic car, great handling (as they all do) and a turbine like sound to the engine when foots on the floor, but not the quickest. Had an S2 which is a cracking car and great GT car, but it's so smooth I found it didn't get my pulse racing. Ended up with a Turbo, which was grin factor a plenty!! Any model is good though if you buy one that's well sorted and Steve's silver S2 on here does look a minter ;)
  16. Really? I thought yours was tidier? Pop over for a look if you like ;)
  17. It would be tough to do any different, poor lad!
  18. All I need now Sean is double DIN :thumbleft:
  19. Well that's decent of you Steve, many wouldn't have done so!
