  1. Can't believe the guy just made hand made hub caps for the messerschmitt and only charged £8 each lol.
  2. Think Sky do an app as well - Sky Go
  3. Jim - do you have Virgin Media - if so you could load Virgin anywhere onto your phone or pad?
  4. Eibach Pro springs and Bilstien B8s - so basically the B12 kit - the mechanic checked out everything while he wa sunder there and said it was in amazing condition - to be honest I have all the old kit back and the shocks despite them being dated as the original ones look in pretty good nick with labels still intact. He did a small amount of rust protection while he was under there and said all he could only find was a few patches of very surface rust which were all treated and then sprayed with stone chip. He has also protected under all the wheel arches It is showing that e low mileage , constantly garaged and mainly used in fair weather has really looked after the car - very happy with that and very happy with the sus[pension and drive
  5. You say that Sean and I agree with much of what you say.... But there do seem to be a lot of owners on here but mainly on Corrado Facebook pages that run the car and the price down.... And not sure why... And well potential buyers read that it keeps the price down. Would be nice if price kept in line with our outlay lol
  6. Well hold off selling until after the wheeler Dealer show on the 5th October.... That can't do any harm to the price..... I hope....... And it may wake a few sleeping buyers up....
  7. Great news at last a date.... Thanks Ian.
  8. Thanks mate.... Went for a nice long country drive today and I can't put into words how much better it is.
  9. Hi Christian. Do you have one left for a 1995 VR6 please
  10. Suppose that's true.... Will see tomorrow
  11. If it hadn't met reserve wouldn't it show that in the bidding section... Maybe they have removed the reserve. So if that's correct them it will sell.... And if family and friends are running it up.... They will have bought it lol
  12. Not bad considering the condition and being cat d
  13. As long as it's not too much lower mind as almost perfect for me and make the standard wheels look perfect size
  14. To me.... This now looks like it should have done out of the factory
  15. Ok all done.... Now for the after shots. But before I post photos i have to say the drive has been transformed. Feels like im attached to rails when going round corners but still if not more comfortable.....
  16. Did they need doing or were you being cautious.
  17. It's probably still quarter of a million less people in the UK calling it a Scirocco
  18. I would have it if I had the spare dollar! Maybe I should sell mine and buy it... Lol. Would need to sell it for too much though considering that I've spent on it over the last year since owning it and having bought it for 6k. But not many low mileage fairly standard cars out there. Mmmm. Wanted a storm initially but there were none for sale when I was looking and I was impatient
  19. I think chains depend on the mileage. If the car is over 100k then it's possibly more of an issue. Plus chains don't need doing if they don't need doing and as far as i understand it.... It's not the chains but the tensioners that break down. And you would know that by the rattle. I think the wheeler Dealer car doesn't get them done and we will here the reason for this on the show.
  20. Point of interest..... Just checked the viewing figures for the show. Last week was 296,000 .... So.... When the Corrado actually airs. It's going to have nearly a third of a million new fans
  21. Cool would be interested to see.
  22. Wow - 6 already - you've not really talked much about her car - is it a nice one? I'm guessing it is?
  23. If she has a problem selling it she can give it to me and I will give it a good home :thumbleft:
