does anybody know if these exist? ideally a black face with yellow needle and markers. cheers, neil. :)

no probs m8 :) as henny says, the system is pressurised, but through heat/water expansion.an air lock would pressurise it in a diffarent way. so with the overflow pipe,as the engine builds temp coolant would run out...but if you blip the throttle it will pulse out in relation to the rpm. ps:have some coolant/water ready to chuck in,so as not to let the level drop below visible in the expansion tank. neil.

you wont necesarilly get an airlock from topping up the expansion tank,as long as the coolant is still visible.but...a slight leak somewhere could take air in when the level is dropping etc... air locks can cause pressure in the system, you would have very hard rad hoses(if the cap isnt working properly) and coolant p1ssing out through the expansion tank if it is working properly. are you still having the problem then m8? if so id disconect the overflow hose at the expansion tank end,and point it into the expansion tank. start the car and blip the throttle by hand, just to check that the water pump is working. neil.

vids of my g60...have to wait a minute then double click the screen for some reason i think. before removing snorkel from air box after removing snorkel -
does sound like either the thermostat or the water pump... :) strange how its blown the sealed off part of the flange though,i think it should have vented through the expansion tank...which would mean that the cap is dodgy, may as well replace it while your at it. and the blue ones are better. :) neil.

cheers m8 :D cheap enough at that i think? 8) seem to go for £150-£200 on ebay, but thats ebay... neil.

taking 2mm off the pads rings a bell to me... :?: could be wrong though. edit:while im here, can i ask how much a full 280mm set up is worth? with drilled+grooved discs/braided hoses/calipers/carriers/hubs? as a conversion for mk1 golf etc... sorry for jumping on ya topic m8! neil.

you will have an offset of et 27.2 :D perfect stance 8) on 8x16's imo. mines on 195/45's though... neil.

yep :) most of the time its the way the glass is cut on the lense. hence why you can tape/block off part of a l/h lense and still pass an mot. also, depending on the car they will mount in more of a lhd way,can normally use the adjustment to get around it (normally adjusted to somewhere near max) neil. :)

that's the one that you have to access through the hole in the slam panel. Mine is shot and I cannot figure how to get it out :? aye, mine was fecked too :x tried various screw drivers with no joy,and i think i then used a pozi drive socket on a ratchet that did the trick. if that dosn't work, its a case of trying to get some small vice grips around the screw head maybe? its just in an awkward place :x neil.

Click for mucho easy 'how to' tint corrado headlights :D

they can be hard work if you run them through the winter like i have...but its just a case of keeping on top of them really. autosol and waxing them as much as you can! i seriously fell out with my car a while ago and really let it go,the design 90's were pretty corroded but after a good few goings over they are back to how they should be 8) as for the tyre size,a 205/40 will be a similar size to a 195/45,how similar i dont know so i couldnt say for sure about the fitment  plenty people are running 9x16's with 205/40's though :) neil.

 i aint no joiner  no probs nick m8 8) neil.

had a puncture on one of the porsche rims :( only had the old 9x14 rh cups that would fit, until i can sort a new tyre. Neil.

ill give your mate £8.53 and a sticky cola bottle for the borbets 8) ? looks fantastic 8) :D
-
depends on the wheel spec? width/height? and the tyre size? should be ok though,et25 will mean they will stick out 10mm more, based on a standard sized wheel/tyre... Neil. :)

hi m8, above everything else id say the best way to gauge the condition etc of the car would be to physically give it a real good checking over and drive it.listening/feeling for any noises/bangs... service history is good to have, but ive seen cars with thousands spent on them (with all the receipts) and they have been sh1tters...and ive seen cars with little history and they have been in near concors condition. Neil.

v nice rims 8)

16v all the way 8) id go for the 1800 and then throw a 2.0 16v in it and do away with the cat,few choice mods will easily see around 170ish brake. 8) the 2.0 would still be a good choice though! 1800 is slightly more revvy. Neil.

iow_corrado_g60, aye you make a fair point m8 :D the diffarent rolling radius will be causing 'scrub' i just really didnt have the time to swap them both over yesterday, may throw the other one on today because i dont think the police will like the diffarent sizes on one axle/beam either... Neil.

how about removing the carbon can,and then using the left over pipe from the rubber t? piece off the inlet manifold? Neil. :)
