i recently went for jbl's in the dash and for the rear parcel shelf side sections. 4" 50w rms/150w peak fit straight in the dash. and the 6x4" 50w rms/150w peak required a little removal of plastic to fit the rear. pretty happy with the sound quality,although amping them would help make them a bit more full sounding i think. pics etc here..... neil.

called the guy,and he hasnt done the valve stem seals :| he reckons he checked em out and said they werent hard? so he reused them. thing is he was just keeping it as cheap as possible for me, but now im thinking that they have got to be done really,or its pointless putting all these new gaskets on :? would halfords :oops: have a valve spring thingy? do ya think ian? neil.

1/head gasket. 2/exhaust mani gasket. 3/inlet mani gasket. 4/??? rubber o rings and a paper one? 5/??? 6/guessing,camshaft oil seal? 7/guessing,valve stem oil seals? do i need to get these in really? yeah? 8/??? 9/downpipe gasket? is this hard to change? worth the hassle? 10/exhaust mani studs and nuts,ill have to use the old washers. 11/rocker gasket,im sure my old one was solid? 12/cambelt obviously! 13/belt tensioner!

alright guys, could someone just confirm what the numbered parts are here,im pretty sure on most of em. just a few are baffling me. :? thanks,neil.

lets see if ive learnt a bit from you guys? :) as a rough guide,the maf sensor,should have somewhere near 500ohms across pins 1 and 3? (the top and bottom one) but you cant beat having it on a gas anyliser to set the c.o correctly. sounds like the guys are onto your problem though. 8) neil.

aye,as above. the allen bolts at 3 and 9 o clock,and then just pull out the horn push underneath the momo pad to access the main nut. neil.

sorry m8? you mean the rado done yet? just waiting on bits turning up,and then see how it runs with the head back on,heres to hoping. :) 2nd pic added:i put so much effort into minting it to a standard i was happy with,and now its just full of crap/dust again,tools all over it etc,cant be bothered with the 'woah,watch the wing/front panel business' anymore. neil.

thanks guys,trying to keep my mind busy. lots of stuff going on at the minute that aint good. on a positive note though,ive just been offered a rallye in px for the rado,which i think is a nice little compliment as i really like the rallyes,and they do go for more money dont they? i know it was a px offer,but he said my rado was awesome. :oops: :) sweet rallye..... neil.
