thanks m8,been 'trying' :lol: to get arty lately. im still on the standard system,just with a decat pipe and it sounds really well,and revs a little cleaner too. ive heard the magnex systems arent the best design,power wise,although i had one on the mk1 and couldnt fault it. neil.

im pretty new to rado's me self m8,its currently off the road awaiting sns chip and 68mm pulley,with other bits... i think ill probably speak for most if i just say 'go for it' 8) g-werks or pitstop developments are the guys you need. pulley is around £55? and sns chip around £110. neil.

cool 8) leccy window switches are probably better off there anyway! rather than get attacked by rain,even if you have the window just 'slightly' open :x

weird. :? only thing i can think of is that,my lambda wiring was a little frail,but didnt 'seem' to affect the drivability or the voltage readings. while its been off the road ive spliced a new connector on from a passat gt,so ill see if theres any difference and report back! 8) edit:just seen your second reply! seems mines the problem one then :( only time it reads lean is when im totally off the throttle. neil.

did you check the bulbs m8? it can happen where two seperate filaments blow around the same time. or if you have an uprated loom,maybe the fuse in that has blown? neil.

moved some jvc tweeters i found in the dash to the screen pillars,and earlier i made a shelf and fitted my 400w sony 10 inchers along with the amp :D still to cover it and tidy it etc... sounds a lot better now,i like my sony stuff :oops:

drop a 2.0 16v lump staraight in,a 9a engine code from rado's and passat gt's/beware some passat gt's had a kr 1800 lump. can pick one up for £250-£300 and will be a straightish swap. the good thing is that you wouldnt have to run a cat converter,so... you can use the 1.8 16v inlet cam in the 2.0,have some head work done. and you should be looking at around 160-170 bhp @ the fly,and impressive torque 8) and then if you can,go for t-bodies :lol: neil.

yeah mine cycles as above,but never from lean>rich,its always ok>rich this is once warmed up and applying throttle/not wot. i presume thats ok? i have a superchip at the moment m8,sns is on the way though :D neil.

what size speakers will drop straight in the dash guys? and allow the grill to go back on and look factory? neil.

yeah,know what you mean m8 :( is it an 1800 or 2.0? i always fancied a 2.0 16v on carbs in a rado,just that condition was more important when i was looking for one. pretty new to corrado's me self so dont know much about the turbo route im afraid... neil. :)

well i just got back from the unit,sad i know :oops: anyway,i found some jvc tweeters hidden in the dash! mounted on some metal bracket jobbies :D they have x overs in the wiring too! so i went on a mission,moving them to the top of the screen pillars,and wiring them up. sound clear as a bell! 8) so now im thinking... anyone running speakers in the dash spaces? seems to measure at about 3.5 inch across,what size/type speaker would i need? neil. :D where i found the tweeters! and where i put em!
