 id just replaced the wiper blade and didnt sit it back properly, tucks under the side rubber nicely. 8) Yep, looks perfect.... probably handles better and tramlines less aswell? cheers m8,cant really feel much difference with the state of the roads round here, and im having to take it easy as every now and again the charger knocks :? . neil.
-
aye,id just replaced the wiper blade and forgot to sit it back properly  yep,it has the fixing point for the badge 8) im gonna leave it off i think. cheers guys, neil.
-
yesterday i swapped the front porsche adapters for 25mm ones instead of 20mm,gives it a slightly better stance i think. also fitted an fk debadged grill. neil. :D
-
thanks :D i am leaning towards not having the badge i think, its just that i like it when people say 'whats g60 mean m8?' neil.
-
cheers m8,appreciate the comments. 8) seems like you understand my dilema  maybe the yellow fogs could make a comeback? nah i just cant decide on the badge though! oh aye,id just refitted the wiper blade because it slid off a little  neil.

_leon_, i know what youre saying m8,problem is that i get too attatched  constantly striving for imrovement etc, trying to make it a 'new car' but it never ends does it,we all know this so why the hell do we carry on? anyway, swapped the front porsche adapters for 25mm ones instead of 20mm as i thought the wheels sat in too much, and i fit an fk debadged grill. dont know weather to stick with the g60 badge or not? neil.

cheers m8,it clicks as soon as i touch the throttle, even just a little, still ok? will i need to reset the c/o mixture if i remove the c/cannister? about 15-20 around town, maybe thats ok then? cheers guys. neil.

if the sender that feeds the ecu was dead, you would have no tickover. :) cheap enough to replace the lot anyway,be carefull replacing them as the heads can snap off easily and leave the thread sat in the head. neil.
-
anyone else? id rather sort it if its not right, the car does seem to be heavyish on fuel if thats anything to do with it or not i dont know? c/o and timing are spot on and so is the lambda probe. neil.
-
sorry guys i dont know what it is. its the thing that all the pipes run to,mounted on the drivers side strut tower, pipes run from it to the c/cannister i think? anyway, today i noticed that as soon as i touch the throttle,it clicks? is it supposed to? i never noticed it before. cheers, neil. :)

hi m8,welcome. the 1.8 16v is 139 bhp as standard. 2.0 16v is 136 bhp as standard,as said above these run a cat and also a softer inlet cam. personally id go for the 1.8 16v,it dosnt need a cat, which then allows you to chuck in a 2.0 16v lump (with kr 1800 inlet cam and no cat!) which obviously unleashes more power/torque. and then id stick it on t/bodies 8) that was my plan anyway, but ended up with a g. neil.

any other companies to consider? pitstop? sure there was a newish guy on here too?

alright m8 :D basically my charger has been making knocking noises very intermittently, although its still producing good boost. i havent heard the noise for a couple of days now so i dont know whats wrong, its definately the charger as you could feel the knocking. copied from earlier... i was thinking full blend from g-werks which i believe comes with rsr outlet (my boost pipe is looking a bit tired/cracked so would the rsr sort that too?) and an sns 5.5 chip? i know this would be more for piece of mind but what sort of power would this give? and anything else needed? oil feed pipe? red tops etc? i already have a decat/boost return kit/superchip. and are the chargers available off the shelf while mine is posted to them? neil. :)
-
bump for any charger info. :) neil.

P.A.S Pump Changing In Remedial Terms.>>OR NOT MAYBE&g
Riley replied to Walesy's topic in Drivetrain
i removed the pump tother day to replace the thermostat. didnt even have to take the wheel off 8) i removed the whole bracket, that way you dont have to alter the belt to get it off (my tension bolt was seized anyway  ) 2 x 13mm at rear of engine, 2 x 13mm going up into the engine block/sump, one 8mm? allen bolt facing across to passenger side, one 13mm bolt facing across to drivers side, hidden above the piping. the 8mm allen bolt can end up getting stuck if you use a ratchet bit like i did,so remove the ratchet and use a 7mm spanner on the allen bit. after all that theres probably an easier way! neil. :) -
- 3 inch,little less at the front.

ahh i see :( any jobs going at your place?
