id liked to have gone for 9x16's really,still might do... would 9x16 et 35 cause problems? i know it would be a case of wheel to shock/inner arch clearance but? neil. :D

cheers kev,i painted em both today,bit of a rush job though,and in black pearl? :oops: . i did push the back one pretty hard! to make sure it sat flush,ill have to check tommorow if ive bent the panel! :shock: cheers for the tip. neil.

im running 8x16's all round on standard suspension. et 35 front. et33 rear. 195/45 tyres at a slight stretch,and im a million miles from having problems :lol: im guessing i wont have problems when i drop it maybe 60-70. so tyre choice could help if you want to go pretty low.

aye youll be needing the 15" rims for 280's,mmm looks over function??? well the mk1 brakes were great fun :shock: at times when mine was on the road,muchos brake fade+roundabouts+twisty roads = many changes of pants! but it did look good 8) :lol: seriously though i dont think your gearing will be much to worry about on 13's,unless you do plenty motorway driving? neil.

mike vr6,not too sure m8,i think its a boss that has the snap off ability? this dosnt look too bad for the money and d tweeks arent normally the cheapest,usually pretty quick on delivery though. :D neil.

ahhh right thanks m8,been doing my head in :oops: you mean put the lever down,off,down again,and the 'off' time is the time between sweeps? cheers for the quick/late! reply neil.

right guys,what should the time be inbetween sweeps on intermittent(front)? or is it adjustable some how? :oops: with using the wash/wipe a bit lately the inter setting seems very random :? between like 1 second upto maybe 10?! cheers,neil.

the vw roundell ones... are these easy to remove,had a quick look at the rear one,looks like it should just pop out? what about the grill one? in fact,are they available in black? or ill remove and paint them tommorow (today :? ) cheers,neil.

dont know if these filter/regulater types would be any good? got it off ebay(again! :roll: ) just tried a search but cant find any??? edit:dont think the gauge should be permanently attatched? neil.

yep you can get the eyebrows,small or deep ones,not sure where from? have you got any pics of the c? is it on the standard wipers? do they work ok? yep porsche design 90's 8x16 with black inners,they are a bit le castaletteish,aye :lol: neil.

nah m8 it wasnt dying,i killed it :? :( i was planning to rebuild it into a track/show car but ive abandonned ship. (really dont know what to do with it to be honest,i basically ruined a perfectly good fun mk1)[schild=5 fontcolor=000000 shadowcolor=C0C0C0 shieldshadow=1]why! why! why![/schild] got to the stage of bare shell,sat on a rolling/flipping jig,and part prepped for seam welding etc... neil...off to remanisse over pics of the ol' mk1 :cry:

re:the mudflaps,good idea,ive noticed the dirt/crap sprays down the sides pretty bad. :mad: been looking for mudflaps for a while,wanted sommet subtle/diffarent/some kind of vw/g60 type badge??? ya know? sorry i know there just mudflaps like :drinking: :lol: won some plain ones in the end off ebay,here,7.99 delivered and there,well? spot on! 8) couldnt leave them plain! also got these to stick on em... :lol:

well if the discs are past there best,use it as an excuse to uprate maybe? i dunno my self if theres any good disc/pad combinations for a vr6? id say a bacbox is a bit...pointless really unless you just want it to look better and last longer? not so pointless then,its all about finding excuses to uprate bits :lol: neil.
