Here's pics of my custom install using a polished Forge Intercooler that makes use of the large central air intake in my RS4 bumper

I think you'll find it's because they look like the 5x100 stud pattern that they do them in, whereas I went for original porsche fitment of 5x130 as I think the studs on 5x100 look too close together on these wheels! At last I'm right about something car trivia - I normally get proved wrong!!!!!
-
well I pulled up a load of pics of porkas and none of them were sided!
-
No you can;t get them sided. I think that they aren't sided on porsches are they???? edit: Looking at Biggerbigbens which are genuine porsche - they aren't sided! edit2: Looked at a few porsches aswell and that show definatly not sided on originals. Didn't think they were as would make costs too high!
-
I have Porsche Cup 3 Turbos on mine and they are a single piece version og Biggerbigbens
-
I believe from memory is is a squeeze and pull action!!!!
-
Except Vince's Rollers would probably self destruct if you put that on it!
-
The ones on Biggerbigben's car were originally 24V Renshaws and were 17's. However I believe he had to have the outer rims custom mode I believe. They certainly were not standard.
-
I Agree with this too.. but id like 2  so i could mod one..[/quote:4b3e0] Just sheer luxury! I think my main mod if I was to would be a chauffeur!
-
With no mods I'd say a phaeton W12
-
I'll have mine black and REALLY dark grey please Mr buagtti :) Lets face it though - If you can afford £840K for a car and the fuel bill etc to go with. Then i'm pretty sure you could also afford the best strip down and respray possible!!!!!
-
The S7 is more the supercar of old - Actually more similar to the XJ220 than ought else with the short stubby front and long rear! Veryon for me!
-
one of the worst exhaust systems I've ever seen....
Blue_Joe replied to steve_16v's topic in General Car Chat
What you really want is a Saxo with just a few exhaust pipes at the rear!!!! -
The reason the connectors would be different is the C has twin tone horns! Couldn't get one of mine in there anyway due to Optima Red top, and love the twin tone too much to go to single.

hello and welcome! Depends if you've got the skills to do it yourself! The gasket is about £20 from GSF for an Elring gasket. If not it's gonna sting a bit!
-
Gwent VW sell them now and it includes all bulbs etc. You still need to remove your adjusters from your old lights though!

Well spoken to Jim at GP Speed Equipment. He has asked for the opportunity to put it right. He is going to supply me with another head to the same spec. Fully recon'd. Supply a brand new schrick cam, all the gaskets etc etc etc and as quickly as possible! If I can get the head down there this week he will get it done straight away! I can't say fairer than that really!!!
-
But will they do early ones???
-
Well - Found out the extent of the damage! Where bearing cap number 2 broke when Andi at GP Speed Equipment was putting it back on, he replaced it with one off another head and ground it out so that it would be ok (so he said!) Well it wasn't...................... It has seized on number 2 bearing cap, in doing so it has deeply scored the bearing cap, my BRAND NEW Schrick Cam, and deeply scored the head! So all of them are SCRAP!!!! Plus on taking out the tappets, they told me the tappets were fine to reuse after I asked them if they were replacing them! We could actually squash them with our fingers. And the Valves appear to be knackered also. We do think that the pistons will be fine as they have deep dishes in the piston so we hope they havent kissed. So tomorrow I will be assembling a bill for all new parts and labour to be done elsewhere for them to pay and see how they react!!!!!!!
-
I've just had it "breathed on a little" 2021cc - Retaining oil squirters using 83mm Custom made Karl Schmidt Pistons 9a Crank flat planed, lightened and balanced And the list goes on and on!
-
Thats the grill I have on mine and I think they look great but I definatly think it should be painted! Also if you lookin my signiture you can see the Inpro Angel Eyes. However I havce seen them on lots of cars and really only think they suit dark coloured cars!
-
If not an elise - dare I suggest a Vauxhall VX220 as they are a bit cheaper and yet easily as good if not a little better than the elise if you get the turbo, bearing in mind they are basically an elise with more protection and safety features. Looks wise they are very individual and I think superb. Not loads of them about like MG's either. Just one thing to do with a VX220 and thats remove all signs of vauxhall badges and smooth over!
-
I'm presuming the black plastic lip. They come in 50mm (I Think) and 90mm.
-
I've had a bit of time to think and calm down! And with everything else that keeps going wrong I've almost come to expect it! But I did stay remarkable calm through the first reaction of thinking the bottom end had detonated!
-
No the bottom end turns freely as teh teeth on the timing belt are stripped off. When you turn the engine over you can here the bottom end turning over yet the belt is stuck fast. Supercharged Just don't have the time or inclination to do any more on it until after christmas. All said I don't want to know at the moment!!! I've got alot to do at work before I break up due to a few VERY LARGE contracts looming so need to focus on them and not the car, especially as if it is anything major I need these contracts to pay for it!"!!!!!!
