H100VW - I Fitted my Headlight Wiring Loom finally last night. All I can say is WOW. The difference is phemoninal.. Bright White Lights just as if it was a brand new top marque car. Also the qualty of the loom was fantastic, faultlessly put together and all the wires are perfect length etc. Well recommended as one of the best mods to make alongside the Lupo Wiper Conversion. Thanks Gavin Sam

Just had my gearbox rebuilt after the second time 2nd gear synchro dissintigrated. This time I went the whole hog, found a doner VR6 box in which the gears were like brand new to have 1st and 2nd gears out of and then a total rebuild. Got it back last week and had it fitted. It cost me a small fortune. Then got the heart-wrenching phonecall. "Sam - you've got a major problem!!!!!" It went into all the gears but in first there was no drive and a horrendous whining noise. The car went back to the people who did the gearbox, who assured me that they didn't understand why as was one of the best boxes they had done but they would sort it as covered in the warranty. Got the phone call today - the selector wasn't seated quite right or something - they were a bit embarrassed but all fixed without having to drain all the MT90 oil I had put in etc. Going to pick it up soon and can't wait to drive it home as haven't touched it with the new box on yet! Can't wait!

IIRC It is deemed an offence in the eyes of the law not to disclose who was driving. There were many rumours and some true ways of getting round disclosing who it was and therefore avoid prosecution, however these loopholes have been proved time and time over that it just doesn't work. Often those who try end up with larger fines and more points. If I was them just bite the bullet and sign it. I have just been prosecuted for 103.5mph on the motorway, I bit the bullet, appeared in court with my solicitor and he grovelled alot for me and told them how nice I really am and got away lucky with 6 points and £290 fine. my collegue in the office got caught doing 41mph in a 30 didn't respond to the letter and got a summons. He got 4 point and £150 fine as opposed to the 3 points and £60 fine if he took the fixed penalty. You know what the moral of the story is, just accept the fixed penalty

I've got a loom from H100VW Gavin's are of excellent quality and workmanship. All cables are covered in heatshrink and there are 2 relays in the loom so increasing the power to both dipped and full beam and fogs. And also the lives are fused. You tend to find the cheaper versions tend only to have the one relay and not as much time and effort has gone into the loom as far as I'm aware (sorry if I'm offending anyone or incorrect here) however I would do yourself a favour - you get what you pay for in this life and that is very true of Gav's looms - they are the most expensive but they also are the best!!!

I agree with Henny as I would want to colour code them! So primed or bare metal would be good with me
