I run exactly the same setup bar a different intercooler and I've not needed a 3.5 bar regulator. As long as it's all setup correctly you shouldn't need one to be honest. Depends on if your regulator has had it or not. You'll probably find with a 3.5 you'll end up overfuelling. Call Steve at pitstop and ask his advice before you buy one if I was you.

Why do you need a 3.5 bar regulator???

I have a Brand New 90 Amp Alternator for sale for the G60 if anyone is interested - £200 not inc deliver - would rather a pick up!

It took me in total about 3-4 days to do one complete swap over having never done it before!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The bolts are located under the panel that the windscreen wipers are mounted on. Fairly near the wipers

I've swapped the lot recently. It is a complete strip down of the interior the dash is the hardest part, purely down to the time it takes if you've not done it before. I've had the dash out twice now and it gets quicker. With the dash you just have to remember that there are 2 bolt under the bonnet that if you don't know about are the biggest creator of swearing moments as you'll sit there pulling on the dash wondering why it won't come out until someone asks you if you have taken them off. The carpets you need to be really careful when removing them as they have the sound proofing is stuck to the carpet in the footwells and then in turn stuck to othe floor. You need to take it out carefully soas not to wreck the soundproofing. Putting it back in is not too hard you just need to make sure its all in lined up properly otherwise its a bugger. Finally go and buy yourself a load of the various types of fixing clips and bits that hold in the carpet as your bound to wreck a load gettting them out. You'll definatly need to buy the four clips that hold the carpet in place under teh rear bench as you have to break them to get them out! hope this helps

Could you not just blank off the extra inlet??? As it seems there are limited single inlet catch tanks other than g-mans. I've been eyeing up some of the chrome ones for some time now!

After speaking to Pro-tune in Stafford today where I am having a front mounted intercooler put into the RS4 bumper. They also quoted me to enlarge the throttle body, which came to £300. I asked why so much to do this. It was as thay were also quoting to put in a larger butterfly valve. I asked if this was necessary, to which they said, enlarging and smoothing the inlet to the throttel body will only make a difference if you enlarge the butterfly as well as otherwise it will just bottleneck at the butterfly valve and all the work will be in vain as no performance or torque increase will be gained. A custom butterfly valve and all the pins made comes to about £120

bcstudent is exactly right. I have a 600W 4 Channel and a 600W Mono Block running 2 12" Subs. I run 0-Guage cable fused from the battery runnning to boot, into a 2.4 Farad Power cap then use a fused distribution block to split it to the 2 amps. Also remember. If you start running 2 high power amps, with plenty of output\nd possibly a cap, then you also might need to consider putting on an uprated battery and 90amp alternator. This is when it starts getting expensive. With my setup, I boiled my standard battery in a day, I had to install an optima red top battery (£200) and a 90amp alternator (about £250)

I need an independant valuation also

So the discount you'll be giving Steve for hte strut brace, does that come off my bill then Jim?? Steve - is that spare bar the one off my bumper???? :)
-
I'm not an expert on this but if the steering is going heavy it may mean the power steering rack has had it.

Hi Congrats on joining us all in Corrado ownership The late spec door cards are a straight swap except that you have to extend the wiring for the swiches. Other than that nothing extra to do. However if you wish to purchase a set of early front door cards I have some for sale that have been recovered in Ash Black soft leather. Excellent job was done. They however currently have Audioscape door pods fitted to them. If your interested there are 2 options. You can buy them off me with the custom pods fitted that take 6.5 speakers. Or I have the original poor pockets that I can refit to them. However prcing will be quite different between the 2 as I would need to but the pods again. But I did get a deal on them so would let the pods go fpr what I paid on them as opposed to what they normally cost. Let me know if your interested Ps. I'm also not far form you in Birmingham

I'll take 2, will send paypal this evening!!! -
It turns out that you can't use the bonrath ones or similar with coilovers as they move about and knock alot. You have to use the standard ones. Just make sure you buy the proper VAG ones only available from VAG as they are stronger

Well mines now an all new setup again as of last weekend! Now running FK Silverline X height and damper adjustable coilovers, Brembo Stopping power, 17" Kahn Style wheels, dropped about 45-50mm and rock solid damper setting at the mo. Poly bushes all round except rear subframe mounts. Goodyear Eagle F1's should be here this week! Pics coming this weekend all being well
-
With the prices above, if you are looking at the Silverlines - These are not silver plated but hand polished stainless steel. However the ones you have listed are the ss version of the highsports. I have just fitted a set of FK silverline X which are ss versions of konigsports but are around £740 per set!!!

Pablo - Youo should notice with the 2 drivers blades that it is ok but when on the drivers side just catches the top window rubber or at least almost does. If you put on the passenger side wiper from the lupo GTI on the drivers side it lowers the blade about an inch and brings it level with the original wiper position
