Welcome to the forum. He's jealous, I would be if I had a BMW 318 and the 19 year old neighbour had a Corrado! The Corrado has got more power, more class, and it's more unique. One thing it hasn't got.....A w*nker like that at the wheel! Tell him to stick his BMW 316/318 up his rectum, back where the peice of $hit came from

Good skills Red=Fast, well done.....you dirty "schwein"

Depends how much he has skimmed it by. If its only a couple of thou, I shouldn't think it'll make any noticeable difference, the CR will only be affected by the tiniest amounts. Its just a matter of course to skim the head, just to clean up the surface, just in case they is any warpage. Should be ok, unless someone wants to correct me if I'm wrong.

I don't have a garage, or a shed, so I use the loft and the spare room much to my fiance's displeasure! Oh and the back garden! And the little wheelie bin shed outside the front door! And the cupboard under the stairs

That's what I used on my 16v, but Stealth advised me to use washers as well

So either a B4 passat saloon or estate is the best option for the moon roof?

Almost not noticable, so defo not chav! Suits the car, sleek look, and no sun glare that always seems to be right between the visors and above the mirror!!!

Don't sell it dude, I know that they can be a real pain in the arse, I've almost sold mine about four times. You do get disheartened with something you have spent so long trying to get right. As the g-man says, take a break from it, it isn't going anywhere, and take fresh look. It's worth a lot more to you than anyone else, and you probably wont recoup much of the money that you've spent on it, so its defo not an option.... Just my 2p's worth...... and I'm a student now who cannot afford f*ck all!

Surely then they should also refend the extra insurance cost to your Dad, as he would have had to declare them when taking out his insurance, and that normally bumps the cost up a bit!

Car accident within 48 hours of E38.. update PG3
mrbeige replied to bristolbaron's topic in General Car Chat
No need! What a fookin idiot! What car was he in? -
That should work, as the current and voltage would drop off between pulses
-
In a normal automotive application the duty cycle is far shorter than 2 seconds, and essentially an injector is a solenoid, so if you are holding the current high for too long, it is possible that the heat will be induced in the coil inside the injector. As far as I am aware it might be possible to modulate the current and voltage around the required value to open the injector, which may solve your problem?

What annoys me is all these people driving around in BMW's and Mercs who can afford a bloody expensive car, but can't afford £100 for a bluetooth handsfree kit! I've bloody got one, and I'm a student, who can't afford sh1t, and I don't use my phone much! Really gets on my t1ts!
