The terminals are internally connected on the amp, so it's still a mono amp. Just facilitates running two subs easier....

Could conceivably be running lean if your injectors are shot, that would cause a hotter burn, but bit of a long shot I think. Could be getting some detonation, if your timing was out, but you'd have the ECU retarding the timing because of the knock sensors (if they are functioning), but then you wouldn't really get that sat in traffic. What about you're thermostat? Might be worth replacing that with a VW one, or at least checking it opens fully? Can you tell if both top and bottom hoses are the same temp when running as hot as it does?

Looking good dude! I think they look great as they are. As Crazy said, it looks like you're up to something ;) Looking forward to seeing it in the metal at the weekend....

Good work Jon! Need to get some nitromorse and some POR myself ;)
-
Woohoo! Some good news :)

Do you mean "you're"? ;)[/quote:37dy0rzw] Brilliant

Indeed it does and it would. That's a possibility. It would have to be done at OPO Euro-Tuning headquarters though. Can be done in a day as well.

Yes Difficult to tell, normally re-grinds Yes Yes HTH ;)

I know Darren, I know  Need a repair kit for the moonroof first.....

I know, I know guys. Just getting fed up with not being able to get on with it really. It's not really a lack of time, just a lack of funds at the mo, but that just gets on my t1ts to be fair. :(

Neil, if your manifold is blowing, wouldn't that cause you to have incorrect lambda readings? Could that be the problem, or was the problem there before the manifold started leaking?

No maximum rev range dude :D Need to get these sorted once I've recovered from the flu :pukeright: -
 Aye, you're probably right. Might rattle can the bonnet as well.....

No such thing as a good looking french car. I have to disagree....
-
Thats the idea  To be fair Rob, you might be better off buying a very very cheap mk2 that needs work and practising on that first; start small. Going in the deep end might not be the best course of action. Doing arch/door repair work will be a lot easier than say flitch/sill work. And fair play we have gone soooooo off topic  :offtopic:

I'm losing interest fast..... :( I think I need help :(

Forgot about those.....normally referred to as candles  Ah yes, especially if you have some chunky audio cables underneath it!
-
This is a good question as well....

I agree about the window/rain issue! The genius response to put the window up when it's raining obviously comes from a non-smoker  I disagree with the wiper issue being a design flaw though, as they were probably great when they were new, just the spring has lost its tension with age. I agree, that little pocket under the steering wheel is a little useless though!

AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH I SEE! Cheers dude ;)

Just a curiosity question....is the rear anti-roll bar integrated into the rear axle? If so, how the hell do you change/remove them as the look like they are welded in there....?

So what sort of head fettling are we talking about Dave? Porting and polishing?
-
Commonly thought that the KR head breathes a bit better as the ports are more open. Furthermore the camshafts are different with the KR inlet cam giving a millimetre more lift over the 9A inlet cam.
