I had the rear beam on the Badcrumble with Poly bushes :brickwall: I still have the beam and was going to refurb it and stick it on Gooney with the poly bushes! Needless to say I will be acquiring VW OEM ones now :salute:

What about the front wishbone front bush? Are the Poly ones better than OEM items?

You'll need the intermediate shaft and pulley and the crank pulley out of the 16v to do that, and therefore the 16v oil pump as well. :D

Similar thing happened a while ago to some family friends. They had a 10 year old Toyota Corrola. Some cock-master crashed into them, then his insurance tried to right it off, so they sued and got the car fixed rather than written off. :) I'm sure you are well within your rights to tell the insurance company to stick it up there ar$e and get your C repaired
