where can we/me get a drive belt from for an R32 without aircon (i'm not using the aircon pump) i have been informed that i need a 6PK1264 belt, everywhere i have phoned just say "a what" cheers karl

cheers Ben, i have used the R32 alternator/PAS bracket mate, it fits no problem, just need to find some where i can get a 6PK1264??? belt from as i'm not using the R32's aircon pump. popped over to do some last minute wiring earlier today, and the "funny" guys at the unit have been playing with some ford badges :lol:

rear parking sensors are still there :cuckoo:

why bother with 2.8 when you can put in either a 3.2/3.6 :)

i cant answer your question 100%, but as for C&R, a friend of mine ordered some hoses last thursday, and they arrived with him yesterday.

well after getting in at 6 this morning, and not feeling very well at all :pukeright: all i did today was making sure the red leather dye covered the cream leather ok, and yeh its done a great job :) all the little scratches etc etc have all gone. when i'm sober tuesday/wednesday :lol: i will crack on and do the rest of them. karl

that is normal with the Zimmerman discs as they are shite. take them back to GSF?? complain, get your money back and get some of the Brembo discs they sell as they are very good discs.

i bet you he will try and sell it for about 2.5k.

bet your happy to be back in this country mate, and i'm in no real rush to get the DTA back from the Phirm as i have loads to be getting on with the new house. but yeh when i get it back it should be a case of just plugging it all in and turning the key :) and yeh pete give me a call on sunday mate, not tomorrow as i'm at a stag do all day :gag:

me and 2 mates picked up my R32 with all ancillaries, and the gearbox attached. that was heavy :gag:

well the car has kinda taken a back seat for a while due to the house purchase/move etc etc, i was also having problems with the wiring, and being colourblind does not help :( i had a couple of kind offers from people on here to help me out :notworthy: and i also kinda put the DTA for sale on here. But after speaking to Tim/Laura at The Phirm who i cannot praise enough for all there help so far :salute: i have sent the R32 engine loom, and the DTA down to them so they can hopefully get it all spliced together for me, and also put a base map on it. Just a shame that some more local "specialists" were not so helpfull?? so while that is being done, i have bought some leather ford rs recaros for the fronts, as i was never 100% happy with the rover coupe recaros i had, the side bolsters were just not big enough, yeh ok the new recaros need cleaning/feeding, then dyed red to match the rest of the interior, but how much do you think i paid for them??? karl

stick the 1.8t in it mate, i went out in a paul matty race spec exige with the 1.8t with a gt30 strapped onto it :shock: holy shitttte it was just awesome the 0-60 was approx 3.4 secs and it kept on pulling past 150mph, but over 150 it was starting to lift. i will get the full spec/pics the next time i'm there.
