i think thats what it called?? its the 42 pin connector for the engine harness. Has anyone got a diagram for what the pins are for?? i need it to finish off my wiring up. many thanks karl

where did you get the 6 speed kit from Shaun, i was thinking about having one fitted sometime soon. also i have a contact that will fit the diff for only £75, i could also ask him how much he would charge for fitting the 6 speed kit also if you want. and i will have the pics of THOSE alloys by mid week.

i'm gonna be re-covering my parcel shelf with some red leather soon. so if you want when i've done mine i can do yours also. and yeh shove a charger on it. the engine did me proud when i had my V1 on it. i sometimes wished i had stuck with that set up :(

i did this on mine about 18 months ago, and its still perfect 8) one thing i did also was mix some of the silicone with some white spirit to really thin down the silicone, then go over the whole lot with the thinned down silicone, it just makes the old hard plastic look alot newer. karl

well maybe a bacon sanwich with a few cans of grolsch, and the promise of a BJ may get me out the car :lol: but its 99% there, i had it running on saturday but the connection was wrong for the TB :( i suppose i should have told The Phirm exactly which TB i was using "i'm an idiot" but it idles perfectly, and the sound with just the 2 silencers is unreal. it WILL be running by the end of this week no problem. i will get some vids of it running also so you can all hear it running, just imagine a golf r32 with verbal attitude.

very very nice, and yeh i would take the engine cover off, i think the engine cover suits the modern cars, but on cars of our era i think you need to see everything. if you see what i mean??

this may sound stupid?? but have you turned the adjusters the right way, when i had my H&R coilovers on my last car i lowered them all the way down once, and the tyre was completly in the rear arch.

yeh they are mate, i will try and have a look at your drawing and measure them up to mine. if you can get another set made while your doing yours, would you let me no please. and the seats are looking chuffing great :) when/if i get my camera back from currys (been in 5 weeks for repair) i will take some pics, these are the 5th set i have done, and i think i've mastered it. did you like my reply then Pete :lol:

you may have trouble swapping the brakes over pete, first of all you will have to try and make me get out of the car. which may prove difficult from saturday :lol: i cant bloody wait :D

well the phirm have completed my ecu for me :clap: it will be with me on friday, so hopefully by saturady it will be running. i can recommend The Phirm to anybody on here, they have been great to deal with, and have kept me informed of everything they have done. if only there were more companys like them in the UK.

still outside doing it, i feel realy bad about that. i think i will have to send him a couple of thank you prezzies down ASAP.
