i'm pretty sure storm developments also do the adaptors, but you can also get them cheaper from this place in the states http://www.adaptitusa.com/index.asp just e-mail them and tell them what you want, they are very helpfull.

you joke about the chucking it in a bucket James, but that is what i did. it emptied a normal sized bucket faster than i could sink a pint
-
i understand the dilema your having James, but i'm 95% sure that both dave, and alex (lizardracing) are both using the PWR barrel chargecoolers without tanks in the boot?? and daves charger outlet pipe is cold to the touch even after a long hard thrash 8) i will be putting my heat exchanger behind the passengers side foglight (that i will be taking out) and also using a 9" spal fan for extra cooling. also i'm using an r32 external water pump, and that is flowing at 19 litres a minute. just my thoughts mate. karl

i have found you some polyester dye, http://www.dharmatrading.com/html/eng/1 ... aints.html you do it the same way as dying cotton, but you have to use very very hot water, leave it to dry, then iron on the opposite side that you will be sitting on. it may be worth trying this before you put all the seats together?? karl

KADVR6 replied to JIMMI's topic in Members Gallery
no wonder he does not come on here the way he gets slated/accused of theft :? i have had a few dealings with Jimmi, and everytime he has been 100% honest/reliable. -
et35 will be fine mate, the tyres will need to be 205/40/17's
-
i really cant express how much i rate them for customer service :D after a little mess up?? i bought some HT leads off pete at the stealth rolling road day. as my car is a coilpack car, pete took a lead out of a distributor set, but due to it raining at the time, me/pete did not check i had the right leads (i only had 5 HT leads, and the 6th lead was the distributor lead). a simple e-mail to DubPower (Sharon) sent me a full re-placement set that day on special delivery. cheers guys :D karl

dont forget the extra 16kg i have also saved with the carbon fibe bonnet 8) just waiting for all the parts to arrive, from the very helpfull people at demon tweeks, then i will crack on with this job.
-
not a clue mate  but i have 312's fitted so if you can get hold of a D90 alloy, then we can meet, and see if it will fit???
-
Are you aloud to do this??? I always thought power had to be inside and petrol / brake fluid underneath??? well that was was i was told/infrormed to do!! that is why i ask people on here, who have obviously more brains than a qualified auto technician. and while your being very helpfull Shaun (again :) ) i have found/ordered everything from demon tweeks apart from the 150amp fuse, which one did you use?? and where did you put the fuse on your car?? many thanks karl
-
cheers guys, i was "told" by an auto electrician that is was best to run the cable under the car, and hold the cable on with P clips. so that is why i wanted to do it this weekend using the ramps.
-
hopefully this weekend i have access to some proper 4 post car ramps, so i want to do the battery re-location while i have the use of the ramps. Sooooo what will i need to do this job?? and what is the safest way of doing it?? my main concerns are. 1, what cable should i be using?? 2, where is the best place to earth the battery?? 3, what size in-line fuse will i be needing?? 4, anyone wanna do it for me????????? and anything else that iwill need??? thanks karl
-

-
nice 8) where you from mate?? i seem to remember the place you took one of your pics, is it in washington??
-
well i have acquired another xmas prezzie for myself (another karl bargain) 8) i have gotta get all the stuff moved from out of my garage ASAP, if the missus walks in there?? i'm a dead man  so i have the clutch sorted, all i need is the LC-1 sorted?? so do i just need the LC-1 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Innovate-Motorspo ... dZViewItem or do i need the LM1 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Innovate-Motorspo ... dZViewItem obviously i wont be buying them for the UK (to bloody expensive) so more money will be going to the states. so i'm getting there, slowly karl

just a word of advice, the eibachs are not very good on a vr6, they can be very crashy. PI springs are supposed to be very very good though, and they are cheaper than the eibachs :)

see i told you it was easy :) you can get the bolsters off e-bay for not much. you could also be surprised by going to ford, and ordering them through them. and yeh i had to staple the plastic retaining clips back on, if you pm me your address, i can send you a superb staple gun. and if i remeber right the fabric is a polyester/cotton mix, as for dye?? Dylon is the best, and you can get this from Woolworths. just make sure you follow the instructions to the letter. karl

Can you afford to run a corrado, 1.11 per litre?
KADVR6 replied to anndy's topic in General Car Chat
i dont care if it goes upto £2 per gallon, if i was worried about petrol consumption i would have never bought a vr6 :) and you will never catch me driving a tractor engined car
