kev, i'm looking into getting some of the MSD coils, how easy were they to fit?? and do you need a bracket or something that can be bought to mount them on?? any advice is greatly appreciated :) also, what is the best gap for the spark plugs for a charger vr6? i have been told 0.065 by one source, 0.032 by someone else?? i have the denso iridiums in at the moment, karl

i had a right nightmare kev, due to a brake pipe bursting on me :( so i had drained all the brake fluid out of the system. took me about 4 days to get it right :shock:

enjoy bleeding the brake system Rob :lol: it was the 2nd worst job i have had to do on my corrado. the worst job was a heater matrix. it took about 6litres of brake fluid to get it working properly. have ya got a gunson easy bleed??? karl

hi mate, i live in sutton coldfield mate. so if want some help when you go to look at one let me no :wink: there is a place in tamworth called TCS, the bloke is a bit of a t**t, but he has a lovely silver vr6 for sale, he has had it for sale for over 6months now, but he did want proper money for it, but the price has gone down to £2995 its a 1996 Nreg, 127k with FSH, it was not worth the original asking price of £5250?? but def worth the £3k he is asking for it at the moment, karl

hi mate, i have T/A konis with kw springs, and all i can say is superb :D also look at PI springs as they are cheaper than the H&R springs, but have a very very good reputation on the vr's, the wheels will be no problem, just put them on, and dont worry. as for the exhaust look at the jetex also, look O.E, very quiet but give good power gains, but match it up to a BMC cold air induction system for the full benefits, any pics of the new purchase mate??? karl

i have got some brembo "max"?? from GSF, mated to pagid fr's. all i can say is superb. no brake fade at all, and they are lasting well :D the worst brakes i ever had were the zimmerman brake discs, i had 3 sets off them in just over 8 months on my last vr, i kid ya not i had chunks falling out of them, i will try and find a pic of one of them.

does anyone know the length the oil pipes need to be for a vr6, i have the oil cooler(19 row) and the sandwich plate, but gonna get some braided lines made up, so info for length of pipe would be very helpfull. :) karl

well after over 3 years of searching for a 5th BBS RC, the wait was finally over today :) i think for £41 including postage, i cant complain for a brand new alloy, with a brand new centre cap. just gotta refurb one of my alloys. then i will have a full immaculate set of 5 :D karl

i'm 6ft 2" and i have loads of headroom, but i did make the subframes myself, bought some knackered mk2 seats, and took off what i needed and welded them together. karl

anyone got any ideas how to get this stuff off??? asking as my grandad found out i was looking to buy a camper van, and he has given me he's 1968 beetle so the missus can get the feel for driving an old vw. the thing is that when he bought it, he was in the royal engineers, and for the first 5 years he owned it, the car was stuck in he's garage, so he waxoyled everything, and i mean everything bar the glass. he also kept on doing this every year :roll: it took me nearly 2 hours yesterday with boiling hot water/washing up liquid to clean a patch about 4" by 8", but the paintwork underneath was immaculate. it should be i guess. he has also told me i can keep the car, as he cant really drive anymore, gotta be worth something being a one owner car, with only 28k from new. :shock: and its bright orange, so you guys will see me coming from miles away :lol: karl

double6's wont have the problem with the positioning of the seat, how can i say it?? he is not the tallest person on here, but he will have to make sure the welding is very very strong....
