  1. right guys, have asked him for the price for units of 10 and 20, it will be the full kit, so need to source the needles. will keep ya all informed. karl
  2. hi dave, as you can see in the pic (not my pic but 100% tha same), mine had a adaptor plate with 2 holes in it, also another adaptor with 3 holes in it, so if you did not get an adaptor with your manifold, then yeh get onto the supplier ASAP. because without it, you wont be able to join the manifold to the cat/de-cat. karl
  3. ok guys, i have shown intrest on vwvortex, and have also e-mailed him. so my question is. 1, do we just want the kit without the needles?? sure they could be sourced here in the uk?? cost would be approx £15 plus delivery 2, do we want the kit with the needles?? cost approx £30 plus delivery. cheers karl
  4. been kind off offered a set of Patec ISS coilovers 8) so as always, what are the thoughts of the masses?? they are remotely damper adjustable from inside the car (well cool) heres a link to the only place i can find that sells them, http://dynamicmotorworks.chainreactionw ... cts_id/206 karl
  5. just found this bit of info on vwvortex, think it could be the answer to the problem when fitting the DDI dials, in that you can loose the ability to see the needles in the dark, mine aren't that bad but could do with being better. think i will pm the guy that is doing the kits about supplying us Brits.. karl link to vwvortex. http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=3202256
  6. did your boxers fill up with the brown stuff??? mine did when it happened to me, but i was more lucky that you. but like ya said mate, metal can be repaired/bought. a new set of legs etc etc are more difficult to get hold off. really sorry to hear ya bad news. karl
  7. maybe we should organise, a corrado forum replace your heater matrix day.it would probably be a very good turn out
  8. same here mate :( and its 100% 22mm diameter pipe ya need. enjoy changing it over mate  karl
  9. hey Jim if you have the cat off me mate?? i can come round yours, and bring my polisher and assorted poorboys polish's, i have been testing them on my old mans BM740, and he is well chuffed. karl
  10. really bad news :( and yeh that does sound like another write off. some of the parts you mentioned are mega money from the stealers. just make sure you can buy the car back from the insurance company, there is always a need for corrado spares, and there's about 5000 vultures on here. get a pic up of the damage. karl
  11. i was led to believe that the vortech is a pretty robust piece of equipment, and that they will easily do 80k before needing a service, read on vwvortex that one guy had a V2 on a golf vr6 for 7 years, did i think 85k, went to do a serive on the charger, and found all bearings to be in perfect condition. i will look for that article later.
  12. i was not expecting that Gareth, but i'm sure with you doing the tinkering, it will be a great looking car in no time :) karl
  13. there's a set on here for sale mate. http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=55222
  14. thats better mate, made an already great example, even better 8) karl
  15. gutted for ya mate, but i would say its very poorly, not dead?????
  16. cheers guys, they are not standard corrado seats, but some recaro's from out a rover 820 coupe. i got them for a good price, and the centres were freshly re-trimmed at sheffield trimmers. if you wanted to do this yourselves??? i would suggest that you allowed about 4 days to do the dying. karl
  17. cheers Stan, i have some rear leather (black) door cards that i will be dying very soon, but i'm having trouble in locating a pair of late spec front door cards. but i'm sure a set will pop up soon???? oh yeh, i have also dyed the gearstick gaitor red 8) karl
  18. well i have been ill for the last 2/3 weeks, had a realy bad dose of shingles :( just had no energy at all, and a constant migrane. but think i'm over it :) so havent got the seats in the car yet  but i have got some scirocco subframes waiting to be welded onto the seats. i wasnt very happy with the dying after it had dried, there were some darker blotches showing through the red dye :( but just gave it another coat, and all has come good, no black showing through :D and a very very unifom red colour. i will be getting these seats in, by the latest next weekend, so i will take some pice of the seats in the car then, but overall i'm very pleased with the results.
  19. cant complain mate, just getting over a dose of shingles though :( but white MO's you say??? and as if by magic... http://www.edition38.com/forums/index.p ... opic=84857 karl
  20. hi Will, hope you and the kids are fine mate :) what about these??? http://www.edition38.com/forums/index.p ... opic=84856 ok they are not 15's but very light, similar to the speedlines in design. plus i'm 90% sure you can fit a good size brake set up with these wheels?? if the guy was closer to me, i would have had them, but birmingham to essex to try a wheel on, is to far for me, especially if my brakes did not fit. plus being 5/112 you will need spacers, so that will make them fill those arches  karl
  21. hi Rob, sorry not seen this thread mate. dont forget what i have said to ya mate. if you can wait to do this lot until you get the charger, i will come up to you, and help you fit the charger. and the day before i come up, you take the sump off. get the wishbones off, and get a garage to press them in. so when i get there the following day, its on with the wishbones, and on with the charger. dont forget mate, the offer is there
  22. happy birthday Dave, we will have to have a chat at the next Worcester meet about the mega squirt :) but really looking forward to a drive  karl

    Recaro seats...

nice seats, 8) you should have no problem fitting them in mate. here's the link for the lazy people. http://cgi.ebay.de/2-Recaro-Speed-Tunin ... dZViewItem look on german e-bay for some corrado recaro bases, they do come up on there often. karl
  24. or do what i did last time i went for an MOT. i took the old cat with me, and when the tester saw i had no cat on said "you wont pass without the cat on mate" so i gave him the cat and told him if he wanted to fit the cat for the MOT, then swap it back to the de-cat he could. i think he thought sod that, so like kev said, he just shoved the probe into another cars exhaust :)
  25. nice find Rob, i bet the owner of the Veyron nearly had a heart attack when he saw somebody go near he's near £1million pound car with some wet "n" dry though.
