cheers for that guys, but what i really want to know is, will 16v shocks be ok on a vr6, as long as i use vr springs?? cheers karl
-
how did you manage that joby did you get a 2 year old to get in there?? there was no way i could get my hands in there to get mine out :? karl

a bit of patience is required, oh sod, it a big crowbar and some brute force, and it will some be off
-
really feel for ya mate, it's one of the worst feelings a man can have. :(

unlucky mate, its not that hard to do, some people say you can do it with the dash in, but i have done 2 matrix's and both times i have had to take the dash out. i cant see how you can do it with the dash in place to be honnest. while its all out, i would check the bowden cables, if they are not free moving in the plastic guides, get some new ones, they are about £30 for the 3 cables. on my first attempt at doing this shite job it took me 6 hours to do :? second time 3 hours, as for the foam mate, you will see where that sits when you take out the old matrix. karl

looking great rob, its amazing how well the corrado drives with the standard size alloys/tyres. you could always sell the brocks?? and put the money towards the charger?? sorry, will go and wash my mouth out straight away  karl

no problem James, it will cost though. done the other seat this morning, its loads better than the first one. i have mastered this sewing malarky. it only took me 45mins to knock out the base. will get pic up soon. then its onto the doorcards :? cant decide on all red 8) or just pick out the cloth section in red leather :? karl

just a quick update, i have sorted the correct thread for doing this little job, making the templates is very easy, cutting the leather is very easy, sewing the bloody stuff is another matter :x i have had to copy the seat base padding, and the guides for the steel pins, that was fairly easy, but the leather is kinda bunching up on the sides, its not to bad, but will be trying another method soon, still its not bad, seeming 2 weeks ago i could not sew a button on a shirt  karl

just a little update of me being conned last year  i was at the local tesco last night, and while getting some petrol, the kid who swindled me, pulled up along side me in he's mates car. :x after a few choice words, and me dragging him from the car, he got he's cash card out and i got £100 back off him. still £50 short. but i aalso have a rather nice samsung mobile phone free also  thanks to everyone who offered me some money for the cloths last year, but i knew one day i would get this sorted. karl

the easiest way is to get some knackered corrado seats, make a frame out of some good strong steel, and use the runners from the corrado seats. you will loose the option for height adjustment though. also they do come on german e-bay quite often, karl

i think we would have all been pleased, if the money given to stealth for the re-map worked in the first place. if you bought a TV for example, for £412, and it was only showing in black and white. would you not take it back and get ya money back?? instead of tring to fix it yourself. -
thats the one mate, i'm only on whitehouse common road (small world) for any parts ya want. pm jimmi on here. he is breaking a few corrados at the moment.
-
how close am i??? i'm 99% sure i have seen this car. karl

hi jinks get some pics up mate  konis with the pi springs are supposed to be better than with the h&r's especially on a vr6. i have had a carboinio CAI and a BMC, the BMC is miles better than a carbonio, you can feel the pick up much better. exhaust wise, i can 100% recommend the Jetex system, nice & quite until ya really floor it, and as for wheels your very lucky at the moment as 2 sets of alloys are for sale on here at the moment. http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=52501 http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=52673 enjoy spending money on the corrado mate. karl
