    vr6 cams

Goes without saying, which is why I didn't say it  yeh true Kev, but some people still think that when doing cams etc etc you will get the "true" performance figures without the need for a re-map.

    vr6 cams

but the 26bhp gain was also after a re-map at stealth, so you wont see that gain just by fitting the cams.
  5. i understand the pain your going through Pete, but it will be worth it?? also dare i say it but i prefer the ABT's to the BBS's
  6. update time, i went to stealth yesterday to meet Pete from Dubpower, as the reason my car is not on the road is down to the Dupower 6 branch manifold having a big leak at some weld points :( But Pete has been an absolute legend with this problem, he is paying for all of Vinces time, and any gaskets etc etc that they have had to get in, just very happy to report that there is still some genunie nice people out there who are making parts for our cars, thanks Pete :notworthy: also i would like to say that i'm also very glad that i took the car to Stealth, i'm sure that some other garages would have just slapped some more gaskets on, and maybe just bodged it to get it out the door, so i'm very gratefull to Vince for doing this properly :notworthy: so hopefully the car will be on the rollers again next week for the last time.
  7. i think Americans call that "friendly fire"
  8. i take it you dont go on ed38 then Kev
  9. my favourite car was the mk3 harlequin, i would have that over any of the other cars featured
  10. all ya need is a flat cap, pipes and slippers Jim, and you will be sorted
  11. i have been without my corrado for nearly 8 months, and i have really really missed it :( not having it on the drive and being able to mess around, and even cleaning it has really hurt :( i can even say the same for numerous ex girlfriends
  12. my god i have fallen in love http://www.amarisupercars.com.40x40.com ... 15886-762# i will have to look at the missus life insurance when she goes to bed tonight
  13. well when i got my RC's all the lips were badly marked, and each alloy took about 20mins to sand down using 1000 grade wet 'n' dry, just dont put to much on, and make sure the putty doesn't sit proud otherwise it will take you ageeees.
  14. it sure does, trust me this stuff is excellent :)
  15. when i repaired my RC's this is what i used to re-form the lips http://www.screwfix.com/prods/59655/Sea ... CSTHZOCFFA its excellent stuff, just use it to re-form the lip and leave over night then just sand it down to a smooth finish, i did the RC's nearly 2 years ago and they are still 100% perfect
  16. no mods  yeh that will last by about monday. looks like a nice example
  17. if the nakamichi has lasted for 8 years i would get another one, if not alpine all the time for me :)
  18. i understand what your saying Zak,they can look messy when its just all thrown together!! but Shauns engine bay is not what you call messy is it?? and that's loads tidier than a standard g60 engine.
  19. cheers for that pm Kev :( anyone wanna buy a 95% completed corrado r32
  20. thats looking very clean, you must be pleased with your efforts so far :)
  21. there was never a black one made by vw i'm afraid,
  22. let's just say my enthusiasm for corrados is currently non existent :(
  23. they are superb tools, i had one of there 22mm sockets with the ratchet attached onto a 3 foot piece of scaffolding to free off a very tight bolt on a vectra gearbox :pukeright: the pipe bent, but the halfords tools had no sign of being in a fight :)
