    this may be of no use to you at all Ben, but when my mate did an r32 install into a Rallye it also would not start until it had the airfilter properly attached?? take airfilter off it would not start, bung airfilter back on and it would start :cuckoo: hope yours is that easy, but i doubt it.

    simoniz matt black engine enamel is awesome stuff, i did my RC's with this stuff last february and they still look brand new, i only did 2 coats then shoved them in the oven to really bake the paint on. it did stink the kitchen out though, and before anybody says it, yes i did take the tyres off.

    just found out the discs are 330 x 28mm discs so i should be ok, have you the part numbers for just the discs available please Kev. cheers karl

    master technician meens chuff all, a supposidly master tech helped my mate do he's wheel bearings on he's car, and 3 days later the bloody wheel fell off as he did not tighten the 3 bolts up on he's 5 stud mk3 golf

    cheers for the feedback guys, i'm just waiting for replys to my e-mails i have sent. but has anyone heard of these guys http://aztecperformance.co.uk/pfc.aspx they seem to be getting some very good reviews on the BMW and Skyline forums, and they will supply just the discs that i need for £350, which does not sound tooo bad?? karl

    i personally would have had the original holes filled in, then had the 5 new holes drilled then, i would not feel safe running alloys like you have done.

    hi guys, just in the process of buying some 2nd hand AP callipers/discs etc etc, but i would probably need some new discs straight away :( wheres the best place to buy just the discs, this brake set up is the disc/bell set up but i only need the discs, they are also the 340mm x 32??mm size discs. cheers karl

    so have you decided what your doing yet?? personally i would get the vag-doctor to sort out the fault codes, and get him to do the re-map, then sometime next year get it to stealth for its final re-map. just imagine how p'd of you would be if the vag-doctor gets the faults sorted, then you get it to stealth again for vince to find some more faults pop up?? you understand what i'm saying??

    well at the moment its on a trailer strapped down waiting to go to stealth, i popped down there today to meet pete griff and i asked vince when he's open over xmas, he may not be opening at all but he will call me if he does open so i can get it down to him. otherwise its booked in for the 9th jan, at the moment i'm in no rush as got loads of other things i need to in personal life :( "all good things come to those that wait" karl
