    Bonnet

After a bonnet to fit a 1994 VR6, colour isn't important as long as its straight.
  5. I'll update my sig later :) on 137k miles had head gasket and others engine work done last year I was told by the chap I bought it off and still running well Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
  6. Googled my number plate and found this post, it still lives on I bought it a month or two ago. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
  7. Sat in Morrisons car park and this other VR6 parked up by me. Made my day Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
  8. Got new tyres fitted, Continentals finest. No lingwangs here Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
  9. I'd always go with Coilovers myself for the adjustability of them. Buts it personal preference at the end of the day Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
  10. Cheers mate I'll have a look now (y)
  11. Thats sort of the price range I was looking to spend. Any chance of a link to a place to look at a set? Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
  12. Morning all, I'm after some coilovers to lower my VR a bit, a mate of mine runs some Fleabay specials on his golf for £150 and the ride quality is shocking. Just want to know what are the best coilovers for value for money. Cheers
  13. I haven't got a camper but I've got a T25 single cab pickup. 1.9DG watercooled 4 speed box and its yet to let me down to this day, though it does drink fuel I consider my VR6 the economic vehicle out of the two ;)
  14. Ended up adjusting the cables to point on the windscreen and put my heater controls back together, now just the fuse to solder then onto bodywork and paint. Cheers Everyone
  15. Lookss like I'll just put it back together and get a dedicated windscreen wiping rag to clear any condensation cheers for the help anyway fellas
  16. Where does the third cable go to and how would I get to the other end of it? Would I be right in saying only two of the cables go to the bottom of the heater box. I'll just manually adjust the controls at the other end of that cable to point on the windscreen Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
  17. Yes I've disconnected the cables from the controls the control turns freely but gets stuck on the below setting in the picture Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
  18. Thinking of just manually setting the cables and cogs so hot air goes to the windscreen then not adjusting them as I've never wanted to have the heater pointing elsewhere. Heated leather seats keep my behind plenty warm Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
  19. Thanks for the help so far chaps now which cable goes to which metal arm? The one with the yellow tape on seems to have a lot more reach wheras the other black on can't really reach either arm. When I turn the direction control dial neither of the arms move either. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
  20. Cheers fellas I'll give the heater controls a go then I'll do the fuse after Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
  21. Afternoon all, I've spent the past few days fiddling and getting angry at my attempts to replace my heater matrix. The matrix is now in and blows warms air however I can't get it to point on the windscreen the direction control dial gets stuck and won't budge. Also the fan only works on max setting. Also all my fuses and relays are wedged up in a corner as shown by the previous owner what's the proper way of keeping them in place and covering them? One day I'll learn to buy a car that doesn't need countless days spent on it ;) Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
  22. As the title suggests my battery light is staying on regardless off revving etc. I've used the car daily for a week with the light on and there appears to be no problems however it does make me feel uneasy having it lit up constantly. Any things I should check for?
  23. Thanks will tackle that when I get home. Then just got the heater matrix and bodywork to sort out👍. Happy Easter
  24. I'll have look later on there. Just got to fit a new rear abs sensor. Save starting a new thread how do I go about getting to it? I've heard that they're under the back seat but want to be sure save wasting time removing the seat for nothing.
