when did this become a dodgy 70s porn thread??
-
hehe, aye to be fair, I must confess to keeping my eyes open for a nicely tuned mint rallye or even G60 Ed 1 :D
-
modded G60 corrafo vs golf vr6???? the G60 wiil easily win tbh...and thats well before any tight corners. Not a huge romping win on a straight..but significant enoug, they can be made pretty quick don't you know :) ..and ..why would mdf and dynomat speed a car up???

mpg on a 68mm pulley/chip usual 190-200bhp mods will be around: Town - 18-22 Calm driving out of town/motorway - 27-30 Hard driving on motorway/b roads - 20-22 Altho One 80 mile drive back on b roads doing a steady 58 I was getting a constant 36+ :) The 2 position on the MFA giving av mpg on mine has always sat around 24.7-25.7 mpg When you chip it etc you wont realyl notice much diff on the mpg - I didnt anyhow

nice one :) Paint is still nice and bright as well! Another mk2 to Corrado owner :) I would have loved to have kept my 8v gti as well. Seems the corrado car preference ideal is: mk2 Gti --> Corrado --> Audi S# --> 911

BURN THE HEATHEN!! (munkay prepares the wickerman)

Go BBS or Borbet for sure :) I thought you were all for keeping you Corrado orginal? They are for the C right?t
-
Unless he means the dreaded .......DIGI-LAG!!!!    If so it is just the air fuel mixture not beign correct on WOT - Golf GTi mk2 8vs do it as well which I used to notice on mine - then when got corrado G60 noticed the same thing. Get an SNS chick from Bilal to sort it out - they really do work :) Speed on tap as it should be :)

SOME OF THE WORST CORRADOS EVER... RICED !!!!!!! NOOOOOO ;-)
munkay replied to chris CORRADO's topic in Exterior
lmao truely awful Looks like some of them have modded their new meccano spoilers so they have some movement like the normal one  -
Yup I agree totally. Having been in my m8s one they are fast for sure. No match for untuned G60. As I said - be needing 190-200 bhp to make it a better match

Looks great - interior looks spot on :) Was seeing a car very similar to yours that got me hooked on the corrado in the first place :) -
Whaddya reckon then? with or without front VW badge? How much is a debadged grille? I am assuming around 40 quid mark? Quite impressed with my photoshop handywork on that one :)

So what did you do to your C over the bank holiday??

No fair! :) Roddy - did you mention to the guy about possibility of getting my car in sometime for the wing? -
I would reckon toying a bit, or maybe not confident of his gears- you would be needing nearer 180-200 to get a better 'race' IMHO

De Bug/Tar - Clean Wheels - Shampoo - Rinse - Wax - Windows - Hoover :) Then swapped over ming silver wipers for stock black ones at last. Then emptied out my skank-tank (DIY boost return catch bottle with its yellow bong-esque water) Also fitted some Infinity 6x9s - that was on Thursday night but I guess that counts for the long weekend. Oh and took some photos: http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=9508 :D Not that I actually had a holiday here in Scotland - get next Monday off though 8) -
Absolutely superb looking wee MK1 there :) What engine etc did it have? I have never driven a MK1 - just my mk2 before the corrado.
-
Hmm...I think I prefer this :) What do you reckon?
-
Thanks :) I have never actually seen another light grey metallic one in the 'flesh' and only one maybe two silver ones. Does seem a bit strange, someone recently asked if it was a respray as they thought corrado's were only made in dark colours :)
-
:) who's fault was that? Was your car an insurance right off I take it?
-
http://www.corradoclub.co.uk/buyingguide.html Basically - Valve stems/Head Rebuild/Timing Chain yeah Have a read of that link for the common things to look for. On the bright side though, if you get it cheap and fix these things it will be good a long time after. Although do expect to spend a fair whack on running gear stuff as well if not already done
-
I still need to replace the rear wiper with a black one - still got some silver one on but that will be gone shortly :) And a bit of back to black on the front spoiler too :)
-
Finally got round to getting some pictures taken :) Corrado G60 Light Grey Metallic With the following mods all done since I got it: Green Inductioin Kit Full Powerflow Exhaust with Supersprint de-Cat Jabasport Stage 4 Charger SNS Stage 5 Chip 3.5bar FPR 68mm Alloy Pulley Boost Return Removed Supersport Coilovers 16” Fox alloys (going to change these) Then tinted rear lights..vr6 grille, infinity 9603s, sparco pedals yadda yadda.... Thought seeing as its Easter could start with a nice Springy picture with some Daffies :)

I thought they are just non-turbo diesels?
-
bad aspect ratio - other than that - very nice car :) one of the only cars that i would properly consider selling for. Along with mr2 mk3 turbo, rallye, g60 limited/synchro , mk2 gti vr6, audi sport quattro ------ideal
