Before... Bought some recaros in a bit of a state... And after... Here we have......the newly refurbed....Blackberrys and cream (recaros)....

Well I thought it's about time Zed had his own build thread seeing as he and I have been through so much. Here goes.. I bought him in 2004 like this as I couldnt afford a "proper" corrado vr6 (by proper I meant one that was running). A cat d and in the middle of being broken for spares... and started rebuilding him. months of hard work and I finally got him at the stage where I could take him to the bodyshop... Finally almost looking like a "proper" corrado... someone decided to crow bar his boot... all fixed... lovely ride height lol... Finally get to park with other proper corrados... got him some grey leather... e38 2005... no rice nov 05... dubs at the park 2006 no rice jan 06... At The Rolling road ... Feb 07....rear arches pulled an inch each side... Inters 07 with the charger on (before the engine rebuild)... Rebuild... and a whole many more months of arsing about doing the chains, tensioners, pads three times to find out it was the bottom end. A whole load of more rebuild pics. Sold the supercharger, bought a 49k 12v engine, and in it goes. Bought some recaros in a bit of a state... Here we come to today... Before... And after... i used the leather dye spray kit from these guys.... www.furnitureclinic.co.uk I sent them a sample of my leather and they matched it up and sent it back on a 24hour postage service. It's quite worrying half way through when you've stripped everything off the piece you are going to dye as it looks completly ruined! lol but alas, it comes good in the end.

sort of. I have a crap memory-however i remember cars better than people lol. My rear lights are not reduced that much either. He has gone through mots with them too.

yep thats all you need to do. I usually get a very small flat headed screwdriver to ease the edges out.

Sweet lights. Love the car. ive seen it on here alot. I remember seeing the car at GTI International. But were you on the club corrado stand at the hop farm? thank you. yes I was also on the ccgb stand at hop farm.

I took my whole interior , taking it back to bare metal, in two hours the other day. Are you getting all the beige plastics too? A little care is needed putting these back in but its not too bad a job.

LOL not exactly in for some work...just the mot and all the needed for that...changing plates, raising suspension, putting cat on ....lol

soda water. spray it on and leave it for a few seconds then get an old tea towel and lie it over the top, press on it then lift it off. Repeat untill the choc and stain have all gone.

I'll need to do the rear axle bushes before the next mot but that should be it. I didnt get a list of things that needed doing though :). Just pleased i dont have to worry about it til then now :) :clap:
