well, it only needs a lambda probe so one is on its way and Zed will hopefully be back in this afternoon. the one on there was the one I got last year from the mot man which has been sitting in the garage with the cat for a year :lol: Maybe i'll buy a new one just for mots :lol:

Mot today....dreading it :(

Bleed the brakes,get the MOT, spray the bonnet satin/matt black (or bring it to us to do), job done! Goony doesnt need a respray!

I bought Kad's 49k engine thats why :D Plus we are not picking the estate up til friday and we needed a car for inters so Zed's new engine went in a couple days ago.

Kad's 49k engine went in today. Just fired it up-its running!!!!! Had a slight issue with my buggered oil cooler pissing out oil everywhere but I nicked the one of my hubby's 24v :D :clap: :clap: :clap: :clap: :clap: :clap: :clap: Zed is alive :D :clap: :clap:

The pics make the paint look better than it is - I will need to get her resprayed at some point, probably get the arch done first, then replace wing and bumper and have front end done then do the rest after that.... but getting her on the road in one piece with a decent drop and nice wheels will all come first. Ta for caliper offer, had a customer give me a box of goodies the other day, in it was two painted red G60 calipers and new discs and pads... :) That sounds like a very good customer! :)

She is looking fab! No where near as bad as you described!! We have a set of vr calipers that will go with the g60 discs you have got if you want them.

Im just annoyed because I wasnt asking for options thats all. Ive had months of people telling me Ishould be doing this and that. Sorry, didnt mean to be rude, it just gets irritating after a while. I wont be offended with prices you say, I just wanted to know the prices people thought.

It has been apart three times due to the rattling. The head has been rebuilt. The chains, tensioners etc have been done twice on the route to just finding out what the rattling is. I am not prepared to take it apart AGAIN to put another bottom end on. If I cannot get a low mileage engine or a fully rebuilt one then I am not prepared to fix the rattle. No offence to anyone but I have had enough so please stop telling me what I should or shouldnt be doing with him.

ok this is getting really irritating now. I have not asked for options on what I can and cant do! I am asking for prices on what you would expect to see it advertised for. Please dont tell me what you think I should be doing - none of you have been through what I have with this car so unless you are replying with a price you expect to see it advertised for then pelase do not reply at all! I am sick of hearing people telling me I shouldnt be selling or I should be selling it in this and that spec. Please.....just answer the question! Rant over! Im fed up as you can tell!!
